Only me on my knees

Singing holy, holy

And somehow

All that matters now is

You are holy, holy

Nichole Nordeman (from the song Holy)

And Mary said: “My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for He has been mindful of the humble state of His servant.
From now on all generations will call me blessed, for the Mighty One has done great things for me—holy is His name. His mercy extends to those who fear Him, from generation to generation. He has performed mighty deeds with his arm; He has scattered those who are proud in their inmost thoughts. He has brought down rulers from their thrones but has lifted up the humble. He has filled the hungry with good things but has sent the rich away empty. He has helped His servant Israel, remembering to be merciful to Abraham and his descendants forever, just as He promised our ancestors.” Luke 1:46-55

Venerate: “regard with great respect; revere” New Oxford American Dictionary

There are times when honestly it's tough to think of something uplifting, encouraging, or motivating to write. But the Lord never fails. My words will always fall short at some point and their meaning will always be shallow. Like every other man or woman who has written anything, I'm not perfect. Thank goodness there is a source of everlasting inspiration, a source of immeasurable depths, the Word of God. Everyday we can see His promises fulfilled, realize His power wielded, and feel His love, if we choose to let Him into our hearts. To be truthful my heart is not always open the way it should be, probably you feel the same way too. That is the time to ask Him in. I've never been disappointed after asking for His help, no matter what my mood. When it's hardest, that's when we need Him the most. Don't take my word for it. God's Word has been tried and proved throughout the ages, and we should venerate it in our hearts everyday. God is the source of all wisdom and inspiration, let's not forget to go back to it regularly.
