When I walked into the house I quickly noticed no one was here. "Yes!" I ran up the steps and started to get ready for bed. I took my night clothes out and took a shower. When I finished I put my night clothes on and went downstairs. "Where are they?" I mumbled. I went to the kitchen to get a drink and a few seconds later my family came in. "Hey." I said, they all ignored me so I went up to my room. I laid in my bed an thought about Jason. I had so much fun with him today, I wish we could be together all the time. A few minutes later my aunt came in my room. I had my eyes closed in hopes of her leaving. "Kristen?" I opened my eyes. "Are you hungry?" "No I'm alright." "Alright." She left and I exhaled. A few minutes later I went to sleep. The next morning I woke up took a shower then started breakfast. My cousin came down and looked at me. "Why are you so happy?" He asked. "Cause you're not." I laughed and walked to the living room to wait for my aunt. She came down and ate then looked at me. "What?" "Well this friday my friend Ellen asked if I could come to her house and I wanted to know if I could." My aunt paused then looked at me. "Sure you've been good lately." "Thank you! I'll wait out in the car!" I ran out of the kitchen grabbed my bag and went to the car. My aunt came out behind me and took me to school. When I got to class I noticed Jason wasn't there. "Bryan where's Jason?" "I don't know San Fran." "Can I sit with you and Ellen at lunch today? I need to talk to her." "Heck yeah, I have to take care of you now that my boy isn't here." "Thanks Bryan." I was so sad that Jason wasn't in school today. I was worried that something was wrong. I was lost in my thoughts when the teacher took my paper. "Class is over Kristen." Mr. Hendricks said. "Oh ok." I went to lunch and looked around for Bryan and Ellen but I didn't see them. I went outside and sat down, a few minutes later Bryan and Ellen came over to me. "Hey girl!" Ellen said hugging me. "Hey!" I smiled and hugged her back. "So did you talk to your aunt about Saturday?" "Yea I kinda lied to her though." "About what?" "I told her you asked if i could come over to your house. Sorry." "No that's ok! My dad is going out of town and I have the house to myself. You and Jason can totally come over." "Really?" I was so happy. "Yeah that's what friends are for." "One more thing." "What's up?" "Can you come to my house after school and get me out of the house?" "Oh your aunt is one of them?" "Yeah." "Yeah give me your address and I'll come pick you up." "Thank you!" I hugged Ellen and we started talking about random things. The more I talked to her the more I liked her. I don't know why Jason said she wasn't all there she seemed normal to me. When school was over my aunt picked me up and we went home. I can tell she'd been drinking because she was yelling at me for no reason. When she was about to hit me there was a knock at the door. "Yes!" I thought. She went and answered the door, it was Ellen. "Hi! Can Kristen come out?" My aunt looked at me and I was trying to control myself. "Sure, be home by 11." "Ok!!" I took my phone and ran out of the house.

I got in Ellen's truck and she pulled away from the house. "This is your truck?" "Yea my dad got it for me. He screamed at me and I stopped talking to him for a while so he surprised me with this." "That's awesome. Maybe I should stop talking to my aunt." We both laughed. "Where's Bryan?" "Ugh I don't know." "Oh my goodness what's the matter?" "It's him. He lies and cheats on me then he says stupid stuff like he's sorry and it'll never happen again." She shook her head. "What?" "He tells his friends that I'm stupid and I'm not that smart because I'm silly and happy all the time. Truth is I have so many problems in my life if I'm anything but happy I'd probably kill myself." "I know just how you feel, its been so many nights I wanted to jump off my roof then Jason came along. You know if you ever need someone to talk to I'm here for you." "Really?" "um Yes!" "Thanks Kristen!" "You don't have to thank me, that's what friends are for." I smiled. "Alright you wanna go check on Jason then go to the mall?" "Um yes!" When we got to Jason's house we seen Bryan's truck out front. "See he lied again, He said he was going to work." "Why lie about checking on your friend?" I was confused. We got out of the truck and went and knocked on the door. A few minutes later Jason answered, he looked sick. "Hey baby are you alright?" "No I don't feel good." He hugged an kissed me. "Hey Ellen, what's up?" "Oh nothing." "Your boyfriend's here eating all my food." Jason laughed. "Well y'all come on." We went in and Jason walked us to the living room. We sat on the couch and I snuggled next to him. "What's the matter?" "I don't know, I ate something my mom had in the fridge and I've been throwing up all night." "Oh no. You should've called me I could've gotten you something to settle your stomach." Jason started to get all dramatic. "Oh my stomach hurts sooo bad baby!" I started laughing. "Mmhhm." He started laughing. "It really hurts though." "Did you eat today?" "No." "Jason! You have to eat. What do you have I'll make you something?" "Can you cook?" "Duh!" We started laughing. "Don't duh me. And what can you make?" "Anything." "Can you fry chicken?" "Yup.. You're not going to get in trouble if I do that for you are you?" "No. I'll tell my mom I did it." "Ok." We made out then headed to the kitchen. Bryan and Ellen got up too but they went in a different direction. "Where are they going?" I asked. "To the bathroom." Jason smirked. "They're gonna use the bathroom together?" Jason took out the chicken and everything else I needed. "Yup." He started laughing. "Why, they can't just wait till one comes out and the other one goes in?" I was really confused. Jason never answered me he was just looking at me laughing. I exhaled and washed my hands. "I guess when you're in love you do everything together.. Even stuff that you probably shouldn't." Jason started laughing harder. "Yeah." I seasoned the chicken and put it in the flower. "Did I miss a lot in school today?" "Nope, I think I did though." "Why?" "I was worried about you. I couldn't stop thinking about if you were ok." "Aw baby." Jason got up and kissed me. "I'm ok now." "You better be because I really missed you." He turned me all the way around then hugged and kissed me. "You're gonna make me burn the chicken." I managed to say through the kisses. "Ok." He kissed me one last time then let me go.

I was almost finished the chicken when I noticed Bryan and Ellen still weren't out of the bathroom. "Hey babe?" "Yeah." Jason walked over to me. "Is Bryan and Ellen alright? They've been in there for a while now." Jason smirked and looked at me. "You really don't know what they're doing in there?" "No.." "Kristen really?" I looked around. "Am I supposed to know?" "Well if you've done it then yes." "What?" "They're doing it." "Doing what?" I asked concerned. Jason exhaled. "Having sex Kristen." "Ooohhh... Oohh... Oh.. Well this is embarrassing, I probably should've known that." I shook my head and took the rest of the chicken out of the grease. Jason started laughing. "In my defense Jason I am a virgin and I don't really know to much about sex and stuff." I started to clean up behind myself. "What?" "Oh Jason I told my aunt that Ellen said that I could stay at her house this weekend and she said alright." I smiled at him. "The best part is Ellen said I really could stay at her house." "All that is great babe.." He paused. "but you said you're a virgin?" "Yeah. Aren't you?" "No." "Oh ok." I put a few pieces of chicken on a plate and took it to him. Jason pulled me on his lap. "Thank you baby." "You're welcome."
