Jason's POV
I was hanging out with Bryan Hannah and her friends and their boyfriends. I was more then bored because I was the only person alone. I did miss Kris now and I was surprised she hasn't called me. I guess she was madder then I thought she was after all. I figured I would go talk to her one of these days an let her yell at me about stuff so we can fix things. I'm not gonna tell her about Jessica and I making out because I know it'll just end with another fight. I knew I was wrong and I know I'll never do it again so I just plan on leaving that detail out. I was looking off into the distance when Bryan walked over to me. "Thinking about Jessica?" "No." "Then what's wrong?" "Nothing.. I think I kinda miss Kristen." "Oh... I can't keep up with you an your women." He laughed. "I only have one." "All that making out you was doing with Jessica would imply something different." "That was a mistake and I only did it out of anger." "So you gonna make up with San Fran?" "Yeah, I miss her and I know she misses me." "Right." "What?" "What if she doesn't miss you and she's still mad?" "She won't be." "How do you know that?" "Cause I just know." "Ok then." "Yeah, I'm gonna go take a shower then head over there." "Ok I'll see you later." "Cool." I went home and took a shower then got dressed. I went into the kitchen an got something to eat then watched TV for a while. I was getting ready to go when my mother came in. "Hi honey." "Hey." I helped her take the bags to the kitchen. When we finished she looked at me. "You look nice." "Thank you." "Where are you going?" "To see Kristen." "Oh I haven't seen her in a while." "Yeah we needed space." "Oh. I think I seen her earlier." "You think?" "Did she change her hair?" "I don't know I haven't talked to her. Where was this? "Ok, The mall." "Oh. Was she with people?" "It looked like a family, but I don't know if that was her, Kristen's hair is brown that girls was blonde." "Oh it probably wasn't." "Yeah that's what I thought." "Ok mom I'm gonna head out, I'll see you later." "Ok." I headed to Kristens house. When I got there I knocked on the door an a few minutes later Mariah answered. "Hey Jason." "Hey." She let me in and we went to the living room. Ms Barbara, ms Victoria, Nate, and Ellen were in there. "hey." I walked over to the couch and sat down. Everyone said hey then I looked at ms Barbara. "Is Kristen here?" "No." She smiled. "Is.. She coming back soon." "No." "Um." "So how have you been?" "Alright. You." "Good." She looked at her nails then back at me. "Kristen went to the Journey concert." "Ooh yeah. Did she take Zach?" "Yes." "Oh ok. Can you tell her I stopped by?" "Yeah I will." "Ok I'll see y'all later." They all said bye then I left. When I got into my truck I exhaled. "That was weird." I sat there for a few minutes. "I guess she doesn't like me anymore." I went home and started watching TV.
Kristen's POV
This morning I woke up so happy, today was the day I got to see Journey. I got up and ran down to my mothers room. "Mooom!" I opened her door an ran in. "mooom!" "Yes." She sat up an looked at me. "You have to get up we have to go to the mall!" "Why.." "Journey!" I needed to go get a new outfit. "What time is it sweetie?" "I don't know mom.. Come on get up!! Get up!!" "Why do you need me to go to the mall with you?" "Umm.. Because I don't have any money." "I'll give you money an you could take Mariah." "Mom." "Ugh." She was still laying there. "Mom..." Before I could finish Elliott walked in. "Hey baby.." "Hey." Mom slid to the edge of the bed. "Oh hey Kris." "Hey Elliott! Journey's show is today!!!" "Oh my gosh I know can you believe it!" I folded my arms an looked at him. "Are you pretending to be me Elliott?!" "Oh my gosh yes!" I just looked at him an mom started laughing. "Go get ready sweetheart." "Thanks mom." I ran an took a shower then got dressed an waited for mom to get ready. When she finished we went to the mall an I got an outfit, mom got a dress then we left. On our way to the parking lot Jessica stopped me. "Hi Kristen.. You're blonde now?" "Ugh can you not see?" "It fits your personality." "And hussy fits yours... Or maybe jealous ex that can't move on." "Well.." "That's to bad we have to go." I walked away an mom followed me. When we got in my truck my mother looked at me. "Who was that?" "Ugh Jason's ex an the reason were not talking." "Oh ok. So you haven't talked to him this week either?" "Nope he made it clear that he doesn't want to talk too me.. And I'm not sure I want to talk to him." We went home an I hung out with Nate, Mariah, Ellen, and Zach till Zach and I had to get ready for the show. While I was in my room finishing my hair Lilly walked in an closed the door then sat on my bed. "You look nice." I turned around an looked at her. "Thank you.." "Soo.. Journey huh?" "Yeah, do you know their music?" "Not really." I knew something was wrong because she hasn't been mean to me yet. "What's wrong Lilly?" "Um.." She looked around my room. "I know I probably should've told you this a week ago but um.. I didn't know how." "What?" "Jason is cheating on you." "How do you know that?" "Well.. I'm dating Bryan's cousin and last week they went fishing, Jason and his cousin Dale went. When they finished they all went back to my boyfriends house." "Ok." "My boyfriend called me around 10 I think and asked if I could come over. So I went over there and Jason was there with a girl with brown hair, I think he called her Jessica. At first they were talking then he kissed her." "He kissed her?" "yes." "You sure..??" I was trying not to cry. "Yeah..." She looked at the wall. "What?" "She asked him if he cared about you and he said no." "That's all you heard?" "She asked him what if you were with another guy cuddling like they were and he said you can do whatever you wanted to. That was all I heard before I decided to leave." "Did he know you was there?" "No, I got there late." "Thanks Lilly." "Sorry." I just shook my head an she left. When she got to the bottom of the steps I closed my door an sat on the edge of my bed. I tried to fight it but I started to cry. "How could he do this? I know we were having a fight but to say he didn't care about me was a lot. Maybe I should've just shut up, none of this would be happening." I heard some one coming up the steps so I pulled myself together. The door opened an Ellen came in. "So what... What's wrong?" "Jason is cheating on me with Jessica." "Ugh that asshole!" I looked at her. "Its gonna be alright I promise." "I don't know he said he doesn't care about me anymore... If I would've just shut up and left him a..." "Kristen you didn't do anything wrong, you have the right to be pissed off about him dealing with other girls. You have the right to say how you feel. He's wrong.. Not you." "I wish I wasn't in love with him anymore." "Ugh he makes me sick." I pulled myself together an looked in the mirror. "Me too but he isn't gonna ruin Journey for me." "I'm sorry Kris." "Me too." When Megan and Dalton called Zach an I left.
