Kristen's POV

We left yesterday and arrived in San Francisco today, I was exhausted. I couldn't believe it took a whole day and a few hours to get here. Then we had to keep stopping, it was just a long stupid ride. It probably would've been better if Jason was here.. I know I have to get over him but this hurts so bad, I love him so much and its like he doesn't even care anymore. I don't know what I did to him, but if he would just tell me I know we can work past it. It felt like Ellen dumped me too, she said she didn't want to come on the trip even though I know she did an at school she didn't talk to me that much. I guess that's just how it works, they were Jason's friends first. It was late when we got to the hotel so I took a shower and got in the bed. The next day I woke up to my aunt knocking on the door. She gave me my own hotel room because she said no one wanted to be bothered with me. I don't really care, at least it had a lock on the door. I let her in and she sat on the bed. "We're about to go to the rehab center to see your mother." "Ok." "Look, don't tell her about our problems." I was confused. "Why?" "Because I said not to!" It hit me all of a sudden, she doesn't want her to know she beats me. Luckily for her I am a tad bit smart. I know if I tell my mother aunt Clair beats me she might go back on drugs an I don't want that. "I know aunt Clair." I sat in the chair and put my head down, even though I was about to see my mother I was still sad. "You'll find new friends and a new boyfriend get over it!!" "Ok." "Now get dressed and let's go!" "Ok." I got dressed then we left.

When we got to the rehab center I was a little caught off guard. I thought it was gonna be like the places I've seen on TV, all run down and falling apart but it wasn't. It was a huge house on a beach. I wished I could live there but I know I couldn't. "Are you ready?" "Yes!" I was so happy  I couldn't wait to see my mom. "Wait.. aunt Clair?" "Yes?" "I don't know what she looks like anymore.." "She'll know you." "Are you sure?" I started to cry. "What if she doesn't? What if she.." "Kristen she'll know who you are!" "But..." "Why are you always crying?!" I stopped and looked at her. "You just cry about everything!" I started laughing. "Get out!" She pointed to the door. "Ok." I was still laughing because that was out of the blue. I didn't know crying upset her so bad, I am going to keep it up. Me and aunt Clair walked into the Rehab facility, we had to sign in and wait for them to go get my mom. I was looking out the window at the beautiful view. "I love this... Aunt Clair look at this view." she walked over and looked. "Isn't that nice." She went back to the table.

I had my fill of looking out the window so I went an sat next to aunt Clair. "Here comes your mother." "Where!!" I looked around then spotted a woman. She wasn't fat or skinny, she was the perfect size. She had a tan with long black hair. I instantly started to cry. She walked over to the table and sat down. "Hi!" "Hi Kris." She half smiled. "You're my mom." "Yes.." "Can I hug you?" "Yes, if you want too." I got up and hugged her as tight as I could. "I missed you so much, did you miss me?" I sniffed. "Baby of course I've missed you. I miss you so much." She hugged me tighter. When I finally let her go I looked at her. "You're beautiful, I'm a little bit jealous." I wiped her tears away and giggled. "You are too sweetheart." She blushed. "Hey can you leave here?" "Yeah." "great! Aunt Clair has money we can go get something to eat." "Ok." My mother got her things and we headed out. We went to a food shop close to the rehab facility and ate. "Why are you so hungry sweetheart?" "I didn't eat last night or this morning." "Why not?" "Well last night I wasn't hungry and this morning I slept in." "Oh ok." "Hey mom?" "Yes?" "Do you think you'll ever come visit me?" "If you want me to." "I do! We can go shopping and hang out, you can even sleep in my room." I smiled. "I would like that a lot." She smiled. "When is your birthday?" "Its May 10th." "Your birthday is coming up, I'm gonna buy you something. Mine is.." "November 28th." "I can't believe you remember.." "You're my baby, I'm supposed to know that." "What's your favorite color?" "Yellow and orange. What's yours?" "Um... I don't really have one." "Oh, who's your favorite singer?" "Do you know the band journey?" "Yes." "Oh my gosh, them! I love them so much and Tim McGraw." "Really, Tim McGraw is my absolute favorite." "Really? Do you still love Dolly Parton?" "Not so much." We both laughed. "Can you still sing?" She sung a little of Christopher Cross sailing to me. "You sound so amazing." "You think so?" "Yes." We talked for about 2 hours just getting to know each other then aunt Clair said it was time to go. "Mom?" "Yes?" "Can I come see you tomorrow?" "Of course! Do you have a swim suit?" "No." My mother looked at aunt Clair. "Clair!" "I'm gonna take her to get one when we leave you." "Good, you can drop her off early tomorrow, I'm gonna take her for a swim." "I'm not leaving you alone with her." "Yes you are." "No." We pulled up to the rehab facility and aunt Clair parked. "Why?! You got something to hide Clair?" "No." "Good. Drop her off at 10." She looked at me. "see you tomorrow sweetheart." "Alright." My mother got out and headed to the house. "Mom wait!" She turned around and looked at me. "I love you!" "I love you too honey!" She smiled and aunt Clair pulled off. "Aunt Clair she is amazing and she so pretty! I can't wait until tomorrow!" She took me to get a swim suit and more clothes then made sure I knew not to tell my mother her secrets. It was late when we got back to the hotel so I took a shower and got in the bed.
