Jason's POV
I woke up to what sounded like paper and bags rattling. I looked around and seen Nate looking through a bag. "What are you doing?" I stood up and stretched. "Oh nothing, he put whatever he was looking at back in his gym bag and sat on the couch. "Where's ms Barbara?" "Her and Elliott left this morning." "Oh ok." A few minutes later ms Victoria came down the steps. "Where's Kris?" "Up in her room sleeping." I answered. "Alright let's get breakfast going." We all went into the kitchen and sat at the table. Nate, Zach and I were talking about sports so Mariah got up and helped ms Vicky. "So Kris played basketball a lot?" "Yes it use to be all her and Mariah did." "Cool, so she's pretty good at it?" "Yeah." "What about football?" "She can throw." "Cool." I shook my head. "Why?" Zach asked. "My cousin challenged her to a game tomorrow." "Ohh.. Is she good?" "It's a guy, he likes to talk trash." "Oh..." They laughed. A few minutes later ms Barbara and ms Rachel came in. "Hey.. Where's Kris?" "Sleep." Ellen walked into the kitchen. "Why? Its her birthday we have to go do things!" "Like what?" I asked. "Well.. We're gonna have a girls day and you boys just have to tag along." "Yay!" Mariah turned around. A few minutes later Kristen walked into the kitchen. "Morning baby!! Happy birthday!!" Ms Barbara hugged her. "Thanks mom! Morning y'all." She came and sat at the table with us. "Sleep good?" I smirked. "Yup." She smiled an looked at Mariah. For some reason Kristen looked different to me, she looked so pretty and her eyes were light green instead of gray like they usually were. I figured it was just me. "So what do you wanna do first baby?" Ms Barbara asked. "I don't know... I'm not good at this birthday thing." "We can go shopping and have a girls day." "Sounds good to me, what are they gonna do?" She pointed to me, Nate, and Zach. "They can come too." "Ok!" "You look different.." Nate added. "Its me turning 17, all the good stuff is kicking in." She smirked. "I'm sure that's what it is." He laughed. "Soo... Aunt Victoria?" "Yes?" "What did you get me?" "What about your mom?" She laughed. "I seen bags in your room." "Later for the gifts honey go hop in the shower so we can go." "aw ok." The girls left then ms Victoria looked at ms Barbara. "There were bags in my room?" "Yes.. I put them there." She smirked. "What is it?" "Stuff for Elliott." "Why?" "His birthday is next week." "And that.. Ohh. Why isn't that stuff in your room?" "Kristen is always in my closet." "Oh you have that problem too girl?" "Yes, now I have an extra daughter that I didn't know about and she does it to." "What Lilly?" "No, Ellen." "Oh.." They went on talking about Kristen and the girls so I zoned out. I was hoping she liked my gift, I got her a necklace and I made her a CD with songs that I hoped made her think of me.
Kristen's POV
So far I was having a good birthday, I was having a girls day with my mother, ms Rachel, Mariah, and Ellen. I noticed my mother looked at her watch a few times and I found that weird but I let it go. When we finished with our hair and nails we went shopping, while I was looking at shirts I noticed my mother was gone. "Mom?" I looked around. "She went to make a call honey." Ms Rachel came and looked at me. "Oh.." "That's a really pretty shirt, maybe you should get it in red." She smiled. She was acting strange too but I let it go. We went on shopping and my mother came back when I was just about finished. We paid for our things and then headed out of the store. When we left the store my mother said she had something to do so we had to go back to the house. While her and ms Rachel was gone we decided to go hang out with Bryan. When we found Bryan he was in a field with some guys and a few girls. We walked over to him but he wasn't paying us any attention, he was to busy making out with Hannah. Jason wanted to wait till he was finished but I wasn't having that, I went and stood next to him. "HI Bryan!!!" Me and Ellen started laughing. Bryan looked at me and smiled. "Really?" "Yup.. Member all the times you stopped me and Jason? This is pay back honey." I laughed. "Whatever." He laughed then hugged me. "Happy birthday." "Thanks Bryan!!" We hung out and talked to them for a while then my mother called and told me to meet her home. I told her alright then went an rounded up everyone and we left. I was so tired from yesterday all I wanted to do was sleep. Instead of going to sleep I decided I wanted to go bowling. So I'll tell everyone when mom gets home.
Jason's POV
I think I hate girl days, all they did was shop and talk about things that I did not care about. Ms Barbara had to go do something so we ended up hanging out with Bryan for a while. When ms Barbara called we came back to the house to wait for her. "I think I wanna go bowling.." Kris mumbled. "You work in a bowling alley." I said. "We could go muddin..?" Ellen suggested. "Sounds good to me." Kristen smiled. "Ok so how does that work?" Ms Barbara came an sat on the couch. "Oh honey... That's.. Not your thing." Elliott smirked. "I can make it my thing, thank you Elliott." "Ok.." He smiled. "Do you like mud mom?" Ms Barbara paused then looked at Kristen. "Do you sweetie?" "Yeah." "No... No I don't.." She laughed. "It'll be fun." Kristen smirked. "I'll just stand off to the side and watch y'all have fun." Kristen started laughing. "Come on mom.." "Sweetie..." She shook her head no. "Mom we have to spend my birthday together." "... I knew you were gonna say that." She stood up. "City girl can't have fun?" Elliott teased. "Excuse me Elliott shut up... Now how do I dress for this?" "Whoohoo!!" Kristen got up and pulled her out of the room. "This should be fun." I laughed. "Yup." Ellen looked at Mariah. "I'll have you know I'm not afraid to get dirty." Mariah laughed. "Where are we gonna go?" I asked. "Over my place." Elliott answered. "Cool." When Kristen and ms B came back we all left. Kristen and I decided to follow Elliott in my truck so I took the opportunity to steal a few kisses. "Happy birthday baby." "Thanks Jay, I'm glad you're here to spend it with me." "There's no other place I'd rather be." "Really?" "Yeah." She kissed my cheek then started on my neck. "You're gonna make us crash." "Shhh." She bit my neck. "Kris!" Its been a while since we made love so she was turning me on. "What?" "Stop it." "Why?" "You're gonna make us crash." "Fine." She kissed my cheek then turned on the radio. I glanced at Kristen and seen she was looking at her cellphone. "I love you." "I love you too Jay." She put her head on my shoulder and a few seconds later she was kissing my neck again. "Kris.." She kept going so I pulled over. "Baby.." Before I could finish she kissed me. "Ok.. I'm finished." She giggled. "That's mean." "What?" Her phone started ringing. "Hey mom, Jason had to stop for a second but he's pulling off now... Alright." She hung up and I finished complaining. "Turning me on and you know we can't do anything about it." "Maybe next week muffin." I was frustrated and I didn't enjoy being called muffin. "Muffin?" "Yeah, you have to give me a cute nickname too Jason." She pouted. "I don't like muffin." "But you are my muffin." She gave me a soft kiss on the lips. "Can't I be your baby or something that doesn't sound like.. that." "Jay." She gave me the pouty lips and I felt myself caving. "Kris." "You can call me cookie." I didn't like that either but I knew I was fighting a losing battle. "Fine... Cookie." "Ok!" She kissed me then I pulled off. "I am such a sucker, muffin?! Really?! Ugh where did she even come up with that? ... She's lucky I love her.. Real lucky." I thought. "Muffin." I shook my head and pulled into where I seen Elliott's truck stopped. I looked around an seen we were at a ranch. "This is Elliotts house?" "I guess, I've never been here muffin." I squinted at her as she got out of the truck. "Muffin." I mumbled an shook my head an got out. I went and grabbed Kristens hand an followed everyone.
