Kristen's POV
The next day after school I didn't have to work and I didn't feel like doing anything so I came home. I did my homework now I am laying on the floor watching something my mother has on. It was something about a family, I don't know I was in and out. I laid my head on the pillow and closed my eyes, a few minutes later I heard the door. I was about to get up but my mother stopped me. "I got it sweetie." I laid back on the pillow and closed my eyes again. "Hey baby." I heard Jason say. "Hey." I sat up and looked at him. He got on the floor next to me and laid his head on the pillow. "How was work?" "Long and dull." "I'm sorry." I kissed his lips softly. "You can't kiss me like that." "Why?" I smiled. "Because you're gonna drive me crazy." He whispered. "Really?" I kissed him again. "I'd rather not watch you two make out." My mother interrupted. "Sorry mom." I started laughing and she went into the kitchen. "Baby.." "Yeah?" "Um.. Wanna start working on our song?" "Sure." I got up and got us paper and pencils. I sat down and my mother came into the room. "What are y'all doing?" She asked as she sat down. "Writing a song." "oohh can I listen?" "of course mom." I looked at Jason. "So what do you wanna write about?" I asked. "Anything is ok with me." Jason and I sat there for an hour trying to decide what to write about. "Let's just write a love song." He suggested. "About our relationship?" "Yes." "Ok!" "Wait.." Jason got up and left so I started putting some words on the paper, just to get the ball rolling. A few seconds later Jason came back with his guitar. "Aw shucks this is happening!" I giggled. "Yes it is." He laughed and sat down. "Ok so there's this line in my head but that's all I got." Jason laughed again. "Ok what is it?" "Its your love it just does something to me." Jason's POV
I told Kristen the line that's been in my head and she took it and ran with it. "Ok Jay so here's what I'm thinking. Its your love it just does something to me, it sends a shock right through me, I can't get enough and if you wonder about the spell I'm under oh its your love." "Baby that's amazing." "Thank you." She smiled. 2 hours later we had a song finished. I added a few parts and the music but Kristen wrote most of it. While we were writing I came to the realization that she's an amazing song writer. I really think she could make it writing songs. "Y'all gonna sing it for me?" Ms Barbara asked. "Sure." I smiled. "Jason you sing I'll do the background parts." "Alright." Ms Victoria came and sat down and I started to play. Kristen and I sung the song and waited for them to say something, they never did. "Y'all didn't like it?" Kristen looked worried because her mothers opinion means everything to her. "Kristen that was amazing." "Really you liked it mom?!" "I loved it." Kristen started to blush. "Really?" "Yes, not even because I am your mother." "That was beautiful you two." Ms Victoria smiled. "I'm so happy y'all liked me and Jason's song." "You're an amazing writer sweetie." "Thanks mom!" Kristen laid on the couch. A few minutes later some one was knocking on the door so ms Victoria went to answer.
Kristen's POV
Aunt Victoria went to answer the door, I knew it was Ellen by the knock. Mom went to get something to drink and a few seconds later Ellen stormed into the living room. "You'll never believe who my father is dating!!" She yelled then my mother came into the living room. "Aw sweetie what's the matter?" "Oh my gosh who?" I asked. "Ms Rachel!!! Lynn's mother!!" "Frank is your father?" My mother smiled. "Oh my god you knew this ms B??" "Oh sweetie I didn't know Frank was your father but I did know Rachel was dating a guy with a daughter." "I was hoping his new girlfriend was you!! Ugh.. My dad is stupid!" Ellen laid on the couch. "I knooow how dare he pass on my mom!" I frowned. "what?" My mother added. "I think he was drunk." Ellen frowned and my mother started laughing. "ms Rachel is really nice Ellen." "Maybe, but I prefer you. Plus you love me already!" Ellen went and sat next to my mother. "Can't you take him away from her?" Ellen laid her head on mom shoulder. "Oh sweetie." Mom was still laughing. "My dad maybe a drunk but he's really good looking.. And he comes with me!" She smiled hard and me an Jason started laughing. "Its not nice to say bad things about your parents sweetie." "But he is a drunk." "He goes to work, come home, and get drunk." I added. The phone started ringing so mom got up and answered it. "She'll see." Ellen laughed. "Yall wand something to drink?" I asked. "Tea." They both said. "Ok." I got up to go to the kitchen but I stopped when I heard my mother talking. "Elliott can we not fight about this please? ... I'll tell her. ... Tonight I promise. ... I love you too..." I turned and ran back to the living room. "Oh my god I'm starving let's go get something to eat." Ellen got up but Jason was confused. "What..?" "Shut up Jason come on." Ellen said. "Mom I'm gonna go get something to eat, I'll pick you up something!" I yelled. "Thanks sweetie.." She said walking pass me. I stopped and looked at her with a huge smile. "What Kris?" She must have noticed. "Nothing." I kept smiling. "Kristen?!" "Ok, ok.. What do you want to eat?" "Chicken." She shrugged.
Jason's POV
Kristen asked If we wanted anything to drink but now we were in Ellen's truck leaving the house. We got to a pizza place and ordered food then sat at a table. "Ok so what?!" Ellen almost yelled. "Well I went to get yalls tea and I heard my mother on the phone!!" "Oh my gosh what?!" "Ok, ok! She has a boyfriend!!" "Oh my gosh!!!" "I know! And he told her he loved her!" I was just sitting there listening to this. I was trying to figure out why they were so happy about this, I just chalked it up to a girl thing. I did have one question though. "Wait how do you know he told her he loved her." "We'll duh Jason.. She said she loved him too." "Don't duh me." I said then took a kiss. We got our food then went back to Kristen house, ms Barbara was gone and that's all Ellen and Kris was talking about. After while Ellen and I left. I went home and took a shower then got in the bed.
Kristen's POV
When I got home my mother was gone so I figured she was out with Elliott. Me and Ellen talked about it for a while and then they left. I decided to get ready for school so I took a shower and went to bed. I don't know how long I was asleep before I felt someones hand brushing against my face. I opened my eyes and seen my mother. "Hey sweetie." She smiled. "Hey mom!" I sat up and hugged her. "Are you alright?" "Yeah." I stretched and looked at her. "Are you?" "Yup!" She smiled. "Why are you so happy?" "Well.." "What?" I started smiling cause I knew why. "I've been dating this guy.." "Aw shucks go mom!" "And I want you to meet him." "Really?" "Yeah if you want." "When?" "Um.. In 2 weeks." "Why so long?" "He's gonna be out of town on business." "Oh ok. What's his name?" "Elliott." She smiled. "Elliott... I like that name. I have a billion questions for him.." I paused and looked at her. "And just how long has this been going on young lady?" "A few months." She laughed. "How long?" "6 months." "6?! And you're just telling me about him now?! Mom!" I laughed. "Well I had to make sure it was real, I can't just have anybody meeting my baby." "Where's he from? Does he have children?" "He's from San Francisco and yea a daughter and a son." "They live here or in San Francisco?" "Here." "What are his children names? Did you meet them? Wait.. Are you two gonna have kids?" " I've met his kids, Lilly and Martin. And no I don't want anymore kids.. I only want you sweetie." "And his kids.." "Well Martin is great but Lilly isn't very nice to me." That kinda annoyed me but I didn't show it. "Well you don't worry I'll put her in her place in due time.." I laughed. "I want you to like them." "And I will after I lay the law down." My mother and I started laughing. "Sweetie." "Ok mom I'll behave." I still planned on setting this Lilly hussy straight, nobody is rude to my mother. I shook the thoughts off and finished talking to her. When we finished talking she left and I started thinking, I was happy she was seeing someone, she deserves to be happy. After a while I fell back to sleep.
The next day at school Jason was acting weird so after school I went to his house. I knocked on the door and he answered. "Hey baby.." He stuttered. "Jason what is wrong with you?" "Um.. Nothing." "You do know that I know when you're lying to me." "I'm really not doing anything." He wined. "Ok.." I looked at him and he was staring at me. "Whatever Jason." I turned to walk away but he grabbed me. "Baby don't leave." "Then tell me what is wrong with you." "Ok come in.. Let's talk about it." "Ok." We went to the living room and I waited for him to talk. "Soo.." He moved closer to me. "So?" He kissed me. "Jason." "I just wanted to get you here." I knew he was lying but I started laughing. "I'm serious." He smirked. "No you're not... If you wanted to make love we'd already be in your room.. So what's wrong?" "Nothings wrong." He pulled me into a kiss. "you're lying to me.." "I'm not I promise... Now for the making love part." I wanted to know what Jason's problem was but I wanted to make love before I had to go to work. After Jason and I made love we took a shower. He was kissing me passionately and holding me tightly. He had his head on my shoulder and closed his eyes. "Are you alright jay?" "Yeah." We stood there holding each other for a little while then we washed off and got dressed. Jason laid on the couch so I laid on top of him and kissed him, that turned into making out. "I love you Jason." "I love you too baby." I kissed him again then I had to leave. Instead of going home I went right to work.
Jason's POV
When Kristen left I called Bryan and told him to come over. When he finally got here we were talking about random stuff. "So Jason what's up?" "Well Kristens birthday is in 3 weeks and I still didn't get her anything." "What are you waiting for?" I exhaled. "I wanted to spend that day with her and do something romantic but I can't." "Why?" "Nate, Mariah and Zach are coming down and her mother will probably have something planned." "So you do it the next weekend it'll be alright." "Yeah." "What's really up Jason?" I exhaled again. "I really love that girl.." "Its just hitting you now?" He laughed. "Honestly yes.." We went on talking till we both had to leave for work.
