A week later.
Kristen's POV
I was so bored at work, nothing was happening and I just wanted to go home. I decided to go on brake and call my mother. "Hi sweetie!" She answered. "Hi mom!! What are you doing?" "Oh nothing, I was talking to Vicky." "Oh.." "Are you alright?" "Yeah.. I can't wait to leave here. Hey mom?" "Yes sweetie?" "Can you make me some chicken and fries?" "Fried chicken sweetie?" "Yes." "Sure!!! It'll be ready when you get home. I may even bake you a cake." "Yesssss!" I whispered and she started laughing. "Oh sweetie that's not creepy at all." "Mom!" "Well it was." She laughed. "Kristen, Mr Anthony needs you up front." My coworker said. "Ok." She left and I went back to talking. "Mom I have to go I'll see you in a little bit alright." "Alright sweetie love you." "Love you too." We hung up and my coworker came back. "Who talks to their mom on their brake?" "I do, I happen to like my mother." "Whatever." "Aww you jelly?" "What?" She frowned an I started laughing and walked away. When my shift was finally over I went out to the parking lot and got in my truck. Sometimes I still couldn't believe my mother got me a truck, she's the best mother on the planet. I sat there for a minute thinking about Jason, he was being a total jerk. He wasn't answering my calls and he wouldn't talk to me at school, It was just like it was over. I figured he was back with Jessica because they are always together now and I even seen them holding hands. After that I just left him alone. I do love Jason but I can't keep doing this with him, I'm not gonna keep fighting for a relationship that he doesn't even want. I'll just move on and find a guy who actually wants me. I turned the radio on and pulled off. I came to a red light and looked at Jason's new demo. Even though he wasn't the best boyfriend I still did the girlfriend thing. I still go to his shows and tell people about his CD's. Ellen tells me I need to get over him but you don't just fall out of love over night. The light turned green so I pulled off. A few seconds later I heard this loud noise then everything went dark.
Jason's POV
Its been a week since I've talk to Kristen. I'm done with her, I don't want anything else to do with her and I guess she got the message. She was calling and trying to talk to me but then she stopped. Jessica and I were back together and I wasn't hiding it anymore. Right now I was hanging out with Bryan and his cousins till Jessica called me. "What are y'all gonna do tonight?" "Nothing hang out at my house." Bryan answered. "Can Jessica and I hang?" "... Sure." I knew Bryan couldn't stand Jessica but he had to chill. "What?" "Nothing." "I know you don't like Jessica but you have to be nice to her." "I am nice to her." "You make it known that you prefer Kristen." "Whatever." Bryan got up and we headed to our trucks. I decided to go home instead of hanging out with Bryan because I didn't feel like making things better when Bryan offended Jessica. When I got home I went and talked to my mother for a while. She turned on the radio and a few songs passed then one came on. "I love this song." She said turning it up. "What is it?" I asked. "LeAnn Rimes new song." "Oh cool." I sat there and listened to it an realized it was Kristens song. "Ugh.." "What's wrong?" "Kristen wrote that song.." "Really?" "Yeah." I got up and went to my room. I wish I hadn't heard that song now I was thinking about Kristen. I was doing great with the out of site out of mind thing but now her music is on the radio. There was no escaping her now.
When Jessica came over we watched a movie then hung out in my room. Most of the time we were making out and laughing them my mom came in my room. "Your friends are here." "Who?" "I think her name is Ellen and Bryan too." "Why is she here?" "I don't know." I went to the living room and seen Ellen pacing. "What's up Ellen?" She looked at me. "Jason is Kristen here?" She seemed really upset. "No. Why would she be?" Jessica snapped an sat on the couch. "I really don't have time for your jealous home wrecking ass. Speak when spoken to!" Ellen snapped back then looked at me. "Jason have you seen Kristen? She asked through clenched teeth. "No I haven't. What's this about?" She looked at Bryan. "Have you?" "No." He shook his head. "Yall are you good for absolutely nothing." She walked over to me. "How do you not talk to your girlfriend?!" She slapped me and walked out of the house. "So what was that about?" Bryan asked. "I have no clue." I rubbed my cheek. "Something must be wrong.. Maybe you should go over her house?" "No he isn't with her anymore so she's not his problem." "I wasn't talking to you." Bryan snapped. "She's right. I don't care what Kristen is doing man." Without saying anything Bryan got up and left. "What was that about Jason?" "Nothing mom." Jessica and I went back to my room and I tried to have a good time but I kept thinking about Kristen. "Jason what's wrong?" "Nothing I'm alright." Ellen was pretty upset and I was confused. Why would she be asking if I knew where Kristen was? I blew it off and made out with Jessica.
