Jason's POV

Its been a week since I've talk to Kristen or seen her and I really didn't miss her like I thought I would. I was having a good time out with my friends cause I haven't in a while. My mother was right, I needed to just hang out with them and do guy things an have fun for a while. What made it better is Bryan said he seen Kristen yesterday and she looked sad. I hoped she was getting the message that she needed to stop overreacting about Jessica. "Jason!" Bryan and Dale came over to me. "Are we gonna fish or you just gonna sit there an think about Kristen?" Bryan smirked. "I wasn't thinking about her shut up." "Yes you were." "Well I was but not the way you think I was." "Right, just come on." Dale laughed. Right now we were about to do some fishing with Bryan's uncle, brothers, and cousins. "Shut up." I said walking past them to the boat. When we got to about the middle of the lake we stopped and threw our lines out then they started talking. They were talking about their relationships and how happy they we're, I was over it to say the least. "So Jason, how are you and Kristen?" Bryan asked. Before I could answer Dale stepped in. "Oh he's teaching her a lesson." "What lesson is that?" Bryan's uncle asked. "Not to ask questions about him and his ex." "Really Dale shut up." I laughed. "That's not it I just need space." "Oh ok." Bryan's uncle smirked. "What?" "You tell me." "Tell you what?" "Is it because of your ex you need space?" "No.." "Yes. Him and Kristen got into a fight because of the ex." "I need space because we're always together. Thank you Dale." I laughed. "You wanna be with her any other time, now she complains about Jessica and you need space.. Riiight Jason." "Dale shut up." "Is that why?" "No, Kristen just overreacts about stuff." "Um.. Are you talking about that girl that hangs out with Megan?" Bryan's cousin asked. I remembered Kristen saying something about a girl name Megan. "Yeah I guess she hangs out with her now." "She's really good friends with Ellen?" "Yeah." "Oooh ok... Yeah." He looked out at his line. "Why?" "Nothing." I instantly knew he was lying. "What do you know?" Bryan asked. "Just that Walters friend likes her...a lot." "Does she like him?" "Nah, she told him she had a boyfriend." I was kinda relieved hearing that. "He can like her all he wants, I don't mind beating Walter and his friends asses." "Well then." Bryan's uncle laughed. "Sorry." I forgot he was there. "Don't worry about it, we're all men." I was more then annoyed now.

The day before.

Kristen's POV

"But mom that's not fair." I sat on my mothers bed. "Sweetie its fair you have school." "But Elliott's kids are going." "I don't know why they are going but you have school." "I can catch up." My mother was packing to go to San Francisco an I wanted to go but she said no. "No." "But.." "No Kristen, that's it." "This is not fair..." "You can come next time sweetie." "How long are you gonna be gone?" "3 days." "Y'all are driving?" "No, Elliott wants to get there fast so he got plane tickets." "He didn't get me one." "Sweetie." "I know.. I know, the next time... When we drive there in the car.. Cause I'm not good enough to go now or get a plane ticket." Mom stopped packing and looked at me. "You know that isn't true Kristen." "It may not be.. But still its.." "Kristen did you do your homework?" "No.." "Go do it." "Fine.. I don't want to though." I got up. "Yes I know because its not fair and the stars are falling out of the sky." She was moving her arms dramatically. "Mom stop it.." I was trying not to laugh but it was funny. "But why??" "Are you pretending to be me??" I folded my arms. "Oh my gooosh." "I'm leaving." I started laughing an walked out of the room. "But that's not fair." "Mom!!" I laughed an went up to my room. I did my homework then went down to the living room and turned the radio on. I was writing in my notebook when I swear came on. It kinda pissed me off an made me sad but I got over it once it went off, I thought about Jason for a little while then went back to wringing in my notebook. When I finished I put it on the table then told my aunt that I was going to the store. I went an picked up some pizza the went to the market and picked up some candy. While I was walking around I started thinking about San Francisco, I wanted to go so bad an mom wouldn't let me. "This sucks." I mumbled. "Sup San Fran?" Bryan said looking at me. "Oh hey Bry, what's up?" "Nothing what's wrong? You look so sad its making me wanna cry." "Shut up Bry." I laughed. "Seriously what's wrong?" "Nothing." "You sure?" "Yes." I smiled. "Alright then, I'll let you get back to shopping." "Ok." He walked away and I went an paid for my stuff. When I got home I ate with aunt Vicky and mom then decided to watch TV till it got late. I got sleepy then decided to go to bed.
