Kristen's POV
Jason and I were in my room talking about our relationship. He kept saying he would change an wouldn't hurt me again but I was having a hard time believing him. I decided to pull myself together because me crying an asking him why wasn't helping me at all. It felt like everything he was saying was all lies and I couldn't take it anymore. "Let's go downstairs." "You don't want to talk anymore?" "No.. I'll get past this Jason." "Oh.." We stood up and Jason pulled me close to him. "Yeah?" I looked at him. "Kris there aren't enough words to express how sorry I am. I'll never hurt you like this again." "I hear you Jason, we'll get past this." "This is supposed to be our first Christmas an I ruined it." "There's always next year.." We went an set with everyone an Jason started talking but I was kinda distracted. I really hope Jason changes, I want to be with him but I can't and won't keep dealing with him lying and cheating on me. I was so lost in my thoughts I didn't notice Dalton and Megan come in. "Kristen." Jason touched my leg braking my train of thought. "Huh?" I looked at him an he pointed at Megan. Seeing them made me really happy. "Oh my gosh you guys!!" I ran over an hugged them. "Why aren't you dressed?" Megan asked. "Did we have plans?" "Nope just wanted to kick it in the sticks." "I don't really feel like it you guys... Feel free to stay though.." "WAIT!!!" Megan yelled. "What is it sweetie?" Mom looked confused. "Sorry ms b! D said you met Journey when we lost you guys last night?!" "WAIT!!!" I ran out of the living room and up to my room to get the pictures. I got the pictures then ran back to the living room. I gave Megan the pictures and she just about died. "OH MY GOD STEVE PERRY KISSED YOU!!" "Yeah we totally made out." I smiled an Dalton started laughing. "Wait a minute!" Megan came an kissed my cheek. "Now its like I made out with him too." "Totally!" We laughed. "How did you get these?" "D! He took me back there and talked to them. Oh my gosh he was amazing!" Megan looked at Dalton and frowned. "I'm coming over your house and your gonna die!" "You were with Zach.." "I'm coming over your house an I'm never ever going home!" "Ok." He smiled. "And I'm not cooking!" "Hey.." He frowned. "You don't live together?" Mom asked. "No I live with our parents. He has his own place." Megan frowned again an mom looked at Dalton. "How old are you sweetie?" "17." Mom looked like she didn't believe him. "Ugh. I should've totally been there to make out with Steve." Megan started again. "I know!" We talked for a few more minutes then Dalton got a call an they had to leave. I walked them to the door and stopped Dalton "are you gonna show me how to do that thing you do with the guitar?" "Maybe." He smirked an walked out so I frowned an looked at Megan. "You want him to do something bribe him with ice cream." She giggled an walked out.
Soon as I got back into the living room mom started. "How old is he really?" "Mom he's really 17, His father put him out when he was 15." "Why?" "Long story." I sat back next to Jason, he looked annoyed. "What's wrong?" "So who were they?" He asked. "Ooh yea that was Megan and D.." I don't know why but I was in a good mood after seeing them. I went on talking with everyone for a while then Jason decided to leave. When he left I walked him to the door then went back to the living room. "So um.. You're giving him a millionth chance?" Ellen smirked. "I guess.." "What the heck its only the 20th time he's cheated on you.." "Ellen!" I looked at her. "I'm just saying he doesn't deserve you." "I know that!" She was getting on my nerves. "Ok, ok.. Don't get upset..." I exhaled an ignored her. "Well did you see how sexy Dalton looked tonight?" I stopped myself from smiling an ignored her. "Well.. I noticed that butt!" "Me too." Mariah added. "Did you Krissy?" Mariah asked. "I'm gonna go to the bathroom." I got up an left the room. I went to the bathroom an looked in the mirror. "Ugh.." My emotions were all over the place and it was driving me crazy. I loved Jason but I am sick of Jessica and I'm sick of always being second to her. Then I find myself looking at Dalton more and more. His bluish brown eyes and smile were doing something to me. His body wasn't making it any better, Dalton wasn't fat but he wasn't skinny he was... Built. (Just think of Chris Young.) Then we had so much in common, we could talk for hours about anything. "Ugh." I sat on the toilet and put my head down. I felt bad for looking at other guys but Jason was making it hard not too. I want him to be a better boyfriend so I didn't want to look at other guys. I know I would never cheat but I entertained the thoughts of a new boyfriend... A lot. I pulled myself together and went back to the living room.
Jason's POV
When I left Kristen's house I came home and took a shower. I ate then went an got in the bed. "Ugh." I hurt Kristen so bad an I felt awful about it. I know I'm never gonna cheat again but I didn't know if Kristen knew that. I know she had every right not to trust me around Jessica but she has to get over it. I'm really sorry about what I did but I'm gonna be friends with Jessica. I exhaled because I knew I sounded like a jerk and a idiot. I'm just gonna talk to her about it and hope I'm not ruining us even more. I laid there for an while a thought about things then I fell asleep. The next day I woke up and took a shower then went to the kitchen where my mother was. "Morning mom." "Hey honey." She looked at me for a few seconds. "What's wrong?" I didn't want to talk to her but right now I just needed to talk to someone. "Ugh me and Kristen are having problems." "Well sweetheart every relationship isn't meant to be." That wasn't helping so I decided to go sit down in the living room. While I was sitting there I was lost in my thought when Bryan came and sat across from me. "What's up man?" "Oh what's up Bryan?" "Nothing, how are you and San Fran doing?" "Not good, she doesn't want to be with me." "You know she wants to be with you, you just have to take it slow. Give her some time to just deal with it.. And stay the hell away from Jessica." "How? My mother and her mother are friends." "You need to figure it out." "I just wish she could get over it." "Well she cares about you and her relationship right now. That'll change if you keep telling her she needs to get over the girl you keep cheating with and trust you." "I told her I wasn't gonna do it again.." "Like last time." "Come on man." "Look Jason, Kristen is one of the few good girls left, she's honest and she loves you. You know she would never cheat on you." "Don't you think I know that stuff?" "Then why do you keep messing up with a girl that isn't even worth it?! You know Jessica is gonna keep cheating on you and lying too you." "Its not like that, I'm not gonna do anything else." "Right." I realized Bryan was annoyed. "What's your problem?" "Hannah is.. She's getting on my nerves. Look I'll see you later." Bryan left and mom walked in the living room. "Wow he really likes Kristen.." "Yeah." "Maybe he should date her." "MOM!?" That pissed me off.
