A Simple Folded Paper

It has been a long day, Lauren just wanted to get out of that class, go home and sleep, but the time seemed to don't want to collaborate with her. After looking at the clock every 5 seconds for the past half an hour, the bell rang and Lauren was quick to leave the classroom so she could avoid the mass of students that, in within seconds, it would fill the school's hallways.

Once she reached her locker so she could grab some books she would need, she put her code and opened the metal door. A simple folded paper, that was apparently in her locker, fell to the ground. She looked around her but saw nobody looking in her direction, so she picked up the paper and unfolded it.

I want to throw a rainbow at you.

Lauren smiled shyly and let a loose strand of hair fall around her face to hide the blush. 'Dammit', she thought. She looked around her again but still, no one was looking at her. She was hoping she would find the author of the note, waiting for her reaction. Lauren couldn't help but be disappointed when saw no one looking in her direction, although this wasn't new. 

Let's just say that Lauren was definitely not popular. She was that girl that everyone saw and thought 'oh, this girl must be new', but she never was. She was in that high school for 3 years now but she managed to go unnoticed. Of course, some people knew her, she had a couple of friends - people who knew who she was, said hi in the hallways or in class, but with who Lauren never hang out with. That was her choice, though. Lauren preferred to occupy her lunch time and breaks reading and/or listening to music since it was her favorite hobbies and she couldn't do them at home.

To say that she was surprised when this happened, it was an understatement. She really thought she could go unnoticed, but she clearly failed. 

Now the question is, who had left the note?
