Five months have passed since Shanz and Saeyoung last saw each other. Saeyoung had to travel abroad to further his studies, so Shanz was left alone back in the country.
On the day he came back, the first place he decided to go to was her house. He missed her too much.
As he was about to reach her home, he saw her, across the street. As Shanz saw him, her eyes wilderness with delight.
Overwhelmed with joy, Saeyoung rushed over to envelop her in a warm hug. But as he ran over a bunch of leaves fell from the trees around.
When the leaves cleared away, there was no Saeyoung to be seen. Shanz looked on the road and there he was, lying there in a pool of his own blood.
Shanz ran over and kneeled down by his body. She held him in her arms, tears streaming down her cheeks.
"It's okay, don't cry. Remember that I will always look over you, making sure you're safe, wherever I am," as he said this he wiped away her tears.
For the last time, she felt his warm, comforting embrace before his arms fell limp beside his body, his eyes shutting slowly.
He had fallen into a deep slumber and was now in a much happier place.
