Akaashi was getting very weak from overusing his power. He loved Tea, but he didn't know her well enough. In order to see her in her most vulnerable moments, and how she looked like when she fell in love, he made it fate for her to meet other boys.

Five occasions, five different time zones. Having turned back time to change her fate so many times just to watch her, he was exhausted.

He had no more memories to take, so his power weakened with every passing day.

When Akaashi was in his final days, he knew he couldn't keep this up. He decided that he just wanted Tea by his side, he didn't want to watch her anymore.

In order to send himself to earth, he had to take more memories. Using almost all of his own memories, he sent himself to earth as a human, losing his powers and memories of his life.

Akaashi woke up on a grass patch, and as he opened his eyes, he saw her. Tea, was lying down right beside him, eyes closed. He was finally with her, the girl of his dreams, Tea.
