I would never forget the times we had. All those hours spent talking to you, developing from an acquaintance to the closest of friends.
I enjoyed those times. Those were the best days of my life. This secret relationship, just you and me.
Who would have thought there was more to it. The happiness, not being able to get you off my mind. This feeling... was love.
After a few days our friends caught on, and word got to your parents. I found out that your parents didn't like you being in a relationship, they wanted to choose your future for you. They did not want you to find true love, just a love that would guarantee a stable life.
From then we drifted apart, talking lesser and lesser each day. I would send a text but you would never reply.
One day, you just disappeared. Gone from my world. There was no warning, no trace. It was like you never existed. After that day you never came back.
You were banned by your parents to ever meet me again, so your whole family moved far away, not expecting to return.
So that was it. The story of my first love, and how I never got to see the end.
