Van was in her classroom, doodling on some of her books. She could draw beautifully, but for some reason she never thought they were of any standard.

It was pretty annoying to her friends, because they knew she could draw. She was able to draw perfectly if she tried, but she didn't have self-confidence

Another thing she was known for was for her saltiness. Not salty like the taste, but salty like she would hold a small low-key grudge on something she is a little upset about.

This isn't something that makes people hate you. Instead, it was something people would laugh about sometimes. But to Tsukishima, it was what made her cute.

Although 24/7 they were sprinking salt all over in each other's lives, they are actually really close. Only if you were this close to someone you would dare to be so mean.

On this day, while Tsukishima was walking down the school halls, he saw a poster on the wall which caught his attention. Filled with excitement he ripped it off and ran away.

Stepping into Van's classroom he slammed the poster on her table. "Join this with Tea-san, you guys could win something!"

Looking at him then looking at the paper. It was a poster for a drawing competition whereby the artist had to design an OC.

"Tea can join, but I can't art," Van remarked simply. But we all know she was considering it.

In the end after persuading each other, Tea and Van joined the competition with their best OC. Tea joined because of Van, and Van joined because Tsukishima asked her to.

Three weeks later the results were out online. The top ten got prizes, Tea was 4th, Van was 6th. This made them both happy, as they would never expect to be top ten. This was probably the best confidence boost they could get.

After finding out the good news, aside from Tea, the first person Van told was Tsukishima.

"I told you you could do it."

To be honest, Van was puzzled why he wasn't being all salty towards her, but she didn't say anything.

Van didn't know but Tsukishima decided to be nice to her, so she would find the confidence to join the competition.

Also, he didn't want to be mean to her, as he was fond of her. He liked so much about her.

He was too embarrassed to confess to her, he kind of hoped she got the hint. For all we know she liked him too, but she didn't dare to say it either.

But you can't contain feelings forever, they would be unleashed eventually. We just had to be patient, we just had to wait.
