Life has been so stressful and difficult, the best way to relax would be a walk on the beach. Belinda looked at the ocean blue water, sand between her toes. As she breathed in the air the sea breeze fell on her face.
She felt like something happened there, something amazing and unforgettable, but for some reason, she couldn't find it in the remains of her memories.
Belinda had suffered from a serious memory loss after having an accident. Her most recent memory was about 7 years back, everything in those years was a blur.
In the midst of her thoughts accompanied with the sounds of children playing in the background, a voice stood out to Belinda. She rotated her head to meet the eyes of a certain someone. Smiling, she responded to the call.
"How do you know my name? Have we met before?" The person had a friendly look, her brown pupils seemed full of hope. Although she was a girl, she had very short hair, much like a boy's.
"I've been looking for you for months. I thought I would find you here, the last place we saw each other." Although the girl talked like they were the best of friends, Belinda couldn't seem to recognise her.
"It's Tea! You don't remember me? You promised you would never forget me, and you would wait for me to come back," Tea grabbed Belinda tightly, squeezing her two shoulders. A concerned look overpowered her before cheerful face.
Pulling her confused friend into a hug, Tea whispered that she would never leave Belinda, and that it's okay she forgot her. They would just have to start all over again.
