Jumin's POV
I waited patiently at my house, furniture dusted and polished. The marble tiles on my floor reflected the shine from the lights back into the eyes of anyone who looked at them. I sat on my sofa stroking the soft fur of my pet cat, Elizabeth the 3rd. Her fur was the colour of fresh snow, and felt like clouds.

Just then I heard a "ding dong" from the front door. It must have been you. I could barely contain my excitement while hiding my nervousness as I pulled open the big heavy door to view you on the other side.

You were as beautiful as the night. In your plain grey shirt and charcoal-black jeans, you were my angel sent down from heaven. You may not look like most of the other girls, but deep inside I knew you were the one for me.

I ushered you to the dining room, where the table was set for our dinner. On the red velvet tablecloth was a setup for two. The finest silverware and the most expensive wine, with dishes made by one of the land's best chefs.

We settled down and started our meal, chatting along the way, knowing more about each other. The sparkling stars and gleaming moon stood out in the darkness in the sky, with the roads dotted with cars and many buildings below. The city view was amazing from the penthouse, but I could only look at you that night.

Our busy lives didn't matter at that time. For the few hours we had together, it was just you, me, and the moment we shared.

"Hey Tea, are you free this noon, I would like to take you for lunch."

"Sorry Jumin, I've got someone to go out with already, maybe some other time?"

"I see... Have a good day. Look after yourself."

Unfortunately for me, you had someone you admired, but it wasn't me. You did not reciprocate the feelings I had for you. I thought I had you for myself, and that even if you didn't like me yet I still had time to win over your heart, but it was already reserved by someone else. Your love wasn't mine, and I shouldn't be greedy, but still felt frustrated.

I had more money than anyone my age, I had a company, I had everything that could possibly make me happy, but I wasn't happy. I thought money could buy me anything I needed or wanted, but I couldn't buy your heart.
