Putting the finishing touches onto the beautiful figure, Tea removed her pencil from the blueprint. It was finally perfect. But planning was the easy part, now she had to make it come true. Spending hours in her little workshop down the street away from mankind, she works alone on her own projects. Rarely people know what she's working on, they barely even see her in the city.

Word says that she has been lonely for years, ever since her friends disappeared from her life. Some say that she's such a great artist and inventor, she might even make herself a friend. Well... they weren't wrong.

-

Connecting a few more wires to their matching colour and troubleshooting the programme, this was the 17th try.

With a streak of hope, praying to herself that it would work, Tea connected the power source.

"H-hello? Can you hear me?" Tea asked the android standing before her.

One would never tell she was a robot, only her creator would know. As she lifted her head and opened her eyes, she viewed the world for the very first time. Moving the metal joints made of gears on her fingers and hands, she looked at the person before her.

"Where am I? And who are you?"

"You have much to learn in this world. But for today's lesson, you're my friend and buddy, Zarrin."

-

Tea taught Zarrin the ways of life as a human, just as if she was born and raised like a child. Zarrin likes to treat Tea as her 'mother', after all she was her creator. But they were just like two puppies in the same litter, like two peas in a pod. They were best buddies, and inseparable.

Sometimes Tea would bring Zarrin out. Not to the city, but to the forest. There, she could interact with all sorts of animals, because they all treated her the same. They did not discriminate her just because she wasn't a human on the inside.

Zarrin had a heart too, just a little different. Her heart was an incredible power source that kept her alive, which was also programmed to make her feel. That's what makes her 'human'.

Zarrin may not actually be the same kind as her on the outside, but inside they were just the same. She could feel, have emotions, and move just like her. Although people may not like Zarrin the way she was, Tea loved her nonetheless, because she was her creation.
