Chapter 2

Benedict POV~

I pity that girl. Being beaten up like that. Luckily she didn't had any injuried. But seriously did I made everything too fast?! I knew her for only an hour and now I allowed her to call me daddy. It's nice having a child at home but it's just too fast but whatever. I can't change the past.

I heard her singing from a shower. She was upstairs I was downstairs wow, she sings loud. And not bad either. I saw her gasping when she saw the swimming pool and the garden just now. She must love swimming and the outdoors.

Scarlet POV~

I was bassically just so happy. I wondered if I could ask him whether I could tell Lilz and Cecil about it. I wore my pastel green tank top and shorts back on and went down.

"Hi dad."

"Well that's the first time someone called me that." he smiled

"Hey do you mind if I tell my two best friends who am I living with now?" He thought about it for a second then answered yes. He said sooner or later the whole world would know anyways.

"So now, tell me about yourself." he asked.

"Okay so, I'm 14 year old Scarlet Jen. My best friend is Lilz and my buddy is Cecil. He is like a brother to me. I love singiing and swimming a lot. I joined lots of swimming comepetition but I never joined any singing ones."

"So did you get any medals for swimming?"

"Yes I leaved them all in my locker in school/ I never birng them back home cause those two would just break them."

"Oh... so why don't you joined any singing competition?"

"Cause...."

"Your scared?"

"Yea." I looked down. I hated saying I'm scared.

"Well you must conquer it then"

"That's what my real father say before he died." I felt my eyes watering but I resisted it. He stopped for a while.

"I'm sorry for..."

"No it's find. If it happens, there must be a reason." we went out after that. It was quite weird cause I was just wearing casually while he was wearing a hat that was covering his whole face. We didn't talked for the whole ride so yea, I checked my phone.

-Me, Lilz, Cecil group chat-

[Holy shit] Cecil

[Are you serious?! OMG you're so lucky! You love him so much!] Lilz

[Yea, I'm really happy!] me

[Can we come over maybe tomorrow?] Cecil

[Yea so we can see your new house!] Lilz

[No tomorrow guys, I need to fix my new room] me

[Really, how about on Sunday? Maybe you guys can come over?]me

[Not sure but I'll ask him later] me

"We're here."

"That was a long ride."

"Yea I didn't want to go somewhere so near in case if you see your foster parents"

"Aww you care about me."

"I'm your father what do you expect?" we walked into the mall casually but I could still see gasp from strangers. There were even some following us. 

"Here, I'll give you 300$. Go and buy anything you need." It was too much actually but I kept quite. I went into a stationary shop, bought my stuff for school. Went into a clothes shop bought dresses, hoodies, casual clothes, shorts, jeans, leggings and lots of other things. After buying a lot of things, I went back to the place where we came in. There were a lot of people there but he managed to get out of there.

"Quick, run back to the car." he took some of the stuff I bought and we ran. He drove to somewhere that had no people at all.

"You okay?" I asked.

"Yea I'm good just give me your phone number so that I can look for you next time without worrying where are you and when will you be done." I gave him mine and took his. I gave him back the money that was left but he told me to keep it.

Right after dinner, we went back home. 

"Look, just because I knew you for less than 24 hours but still, you are my daughter and there would be news that you will need to follow."

"Why..." I showed him the innocent look.

"Cause I said so. Now, no food in your room. No going out without informing me. No having parties at home when I am gone, a few friends is allowed but no more than 5. No TV after 12. Wake up before 10. Yea that's about it." I looked at him as if he was mad. There were only so little rules. I guess I will have to get used to the life with freedom.

"What did I say anything wrong?"

"No but... what about having friends at home?"

"They can come over anytime but please just do not break anything and please, no having sex, smoking or drinking."

After that, I went back to my empty room which would be decorated the next day.

Cecil's always really cold when we chat but in real life. he's a pretty nice guy. Hot too. I went to bed after that finally, a sleep without any night mares.
