Chapter 37

All Williamson said was to want me to sleep because he said the ride was going to take a while. I didn't like how I was going on a mission without telling Cecil about it but I just didn't have time.

"We're here." He woke me up and stopped the car. I opened my eyes feeling a little dizzy and checked the time, already 6pm. I opened the door and stood outside the car. I was on a plain land, a land filled with beautiful flowers. I was standing in the middle of flowers.

"Mind telling me why I'm here Williamson?" I asked and turned towards him. He was taking out his camera.

"One, to help me take some pictures of this beautiful land. Two, I want you to just look at this place and think of what it reminds you of." Then he handed me his camera. I helped him took some pictures, I must say my photography skills are quite nice.

"Now look at this place, does it remind you of anything?" He said while he kept his camera in the car. I stared at that place, it did seemed familiar but I just couldn't recall what place it was.

"Think about school. It may help you." He gave me a hint.

"If you can hint me then just tell me what place this is."

"It's better if you guess."

I nearly gave up until I finally remembered this place.

"I came here before, for a field trip with Cecil, Lilz, Edmund and Linda." I turned to Williamson and said. He was happy that I could remember.

"What happened here Scarlet?"

"Linda, she punched me." I closed my eyes and thought hard for why she punched me. All I remembered was that I said something and Linda punched me.

"Is that all you can remember?" Williamson asked.

"Yes, can I know now why did you bring me here?" I asked.

"I'll tell you on the way home, now get into the car." The ride started of with the both of us being very quiet but the silence soon ended when Williamson started asking me questions again.

"What do you think of that place Scaret?"

"Beautiful."

"Besides the field trip, do you remember when was the other time you went there?"

"Nope but by how you ask me, I must have been here for more than once. So, when was the other time I was here?"

"You'll find out soon."

"Oh gosh who am I meeting this time."

"Linda." It took a while for him to answer and also a while for me to digest what he just said.

"Where is she?" I started feeling uncomfortable having the thought of seeing Linda. Williamson didn't answer me and he tried to change the topic.

"Williamson don't try and escape, now tell me, where is she?" I said sternly this time.

"She's.... in town."

Linda POV~

"How do you know that they know we're here?" I asked Lilz. The both of us just reached the day before and the officers already found out that we're here, something's suspicious. After that meeting with Chris, Lilz and I went back to the forest and then went back to London.

"I passed by the police station yesterday night and heard two officers talking about us." She said while preparing her gun.

"So what? We have to move away this early? I have not even get my mother out yet." I said while I was still thinking on how to get my mother out from the police station.

"We can stay here, at least until they find out where we live but that seems impossible. In fact we have other choices, we can move away to my house. After I left my parents moved away from London so which means that house is empty."

"Do you think they'll find out that we're living here?"

"Here, in your house? I'm pretty sure they think that we're not so dumb that we'll live in the place where they will most go to investigate so I guess they will not bother to come here."

Scarlet POV~

I went back home, ate my dinner and went straight up to my room. I was really quiet that night but the two of them knew the reason so they didn't bother asking.

"Hey where were you?" Cecil called and ask.

"I had to go somewhere.... with Williamson."

"Is it about Linda?"

"Yes..."

"What did you get this time?"

"She's in town..." Cecil kept quiet for a while then continued.

"You'll be fine Scarlet. Ben and Williamson will take good care of you."

"That's what you all say." He kept quiet after that. I felt bad for saying that so I decided to continue.

"About that match on Friday, you prepared?"

"Oh about that, well I guess I am prepared but I still feel a little nervous I guess."

"Chill babe you'll win this."

"And you'll win the fight with Linda too."
