Chapter 33

"I told you to leave Scarlet out of this!" Cecil yelled at Ben once we came down off the car.

"Well if I don't inform her about it she would be super angry at both you and I."

"Wait hold it hold it cut. Mind explaining what's going on?!" I yelled.

"Obviously tied up Scarlet now help me!" Jade said.

"Chris, he did this." I said while I untied Jade and Ben untied Cecil.

"No, Linda. Chris is back home." Cecil said.

"I'm calling Williamson." Ben said then walked into the car.

"So what's the plan?" Cecil said.

"Well the party can't go on! I need to see Chris!" I said. Jade didn't seem so keen on the idea on cancelling the party.

"Jade we'll party after all this is done okay?" I asked.

"Fine..." she said softly. Then continued:"But while you people are doing this, I need to head to Edmund's house."

"I'll fetch you." Ben said. In the car after we left Jade in Edmund's house, we started discussing about Linda coming back.

"I think Chris is involved in this." I said.

"No he is not. He is at home. My mom is watching every step of his."

"There could be a GPS hiding in him and you will never know." Ben said. That was when Cecil realize that it was possible.

"But whatever it is. We'll let Williamson think about this." Ben continued.

Instead of heading home, we ended up in the police station because the officers had to see me for Lind's case. They had to see Cecil to ask about Chris because apparently Williamson had reported about Chris. They also had to ask him about Linda.

"Come in please." Cecil and I were asked into a room with Williamson.

"Please have a sit." An officer said.

"So Cecil I believe you saw Linda just a while ago?"

"Yes."

"How did you saw her? As in, why were you at that road at that moment."

"It's our friend, Edmund's birthday today. That morning, Jade phoned me asking me to go to her place before going to Edmund's because she couldn't take all the stuff. She didn't want to ask Scarlet because Scarlet was probably still asleep by then. So I went to her house, took the stuff and went out with her. Right as we were turning down into a small alley, Linda, in her car, drove in front of us, nearly killed us by the way. The weird part was, she put a knife under my neck and ordered me to phoned Benedict Cumberbatch so that he could come and save us. She even said not to tell Scarlet. So I had no choice, I did as she said, then she tied Jade and I up and left us there." There was a pause after that.

"Was she alone?"

"Yes."

"She's obviously sending a signal telling us that she will be back soon, and this time she would do something bad. The reason why she told Cecil to call Ben was because she didn't want to play, not yet. She just wanted to warn us. Why would she say do not tell Scarlet was because Scarlet would automatically run after her. She doesn't want anyone running after her yet, especially Scarlet she means, she is up to something really evil." Williamson said.

"Mr Williamson I did not ask for you opinion." The officer sternly.

"Oh please, with that blank look, you'll need me more than I need you and plus, that is not an opinion, that's a truth. Whether or not you want to believe it, I can't control but if you want to waste time investigating instead of listening to me, do not regret." Williamson said and went out shutting the door behind. The officer was angry but he was still nice in front of the both of us.
