Chapter 20

Late night, Edmund was asleep while being tued by the ropes like that. The thought of something would happen if I sleep was still creeping on to me. I couldn't sleep, All I did was thinking on how to get out, out from this nightmare, out from this hell, far far away from Linda, and Lilz.

"Got any sleep last night?" he said it after he was awake. It was only 6 in the morning.

"No, I did not get any sleep."

"Well you should, come on get some rest. I call you when the sun comes out."

"No time Edmund... I need to get down by 7..." I said while picking my clothes from the wardrobe. There were plain white shirts and plain black shorts. All were the same so I didn't have to choose anyways.

"Are you really going to do what they say..." he said while smirking.

"Well yes unless if you don't mind getting killed."

"Well you need to stop caring about just one person and sacrifice yourself." he still didn't get it. He still did not understand why he could not die, because of Jade.

"Well I'm not doing this only for you, but it' also for Jade. Don't you understand?"

"No." he said and turned away.

"Don't act like you don't. You know she loves you, and you know you do too. So why are you hiding it? She is just waiting for you everyday, feeling insecure around you everyday. Isn't it a guys job to make a girl feel comfortable? Shouldn't you be more like Cecil?" I knew I said too much this time but it was good for both Jade and Edmund.

"One, I do not like her. Two, she's okay around me. Three, Cecil and I are totally different, I could never be like him."

"Whatever you want to say but I'll show you. I'll show you both of you need each other." I said and went down.

Ben POV~

We decided to not waste time and drove to Wales. Besides two officers, the two kids were with me. There were also more police cars following us to help.

"So, our plan is that we will spilt directions after we reached Wales. The main team is our team of course, Benedict Cumberbatch, you will be the leader and you will carry this walkytalky. If you have any problem, just call me but most of the time we will be together anyways." the officer said. I just gave him a nod while looking outside the window thinking where could Scarlet be? Not to forget we also had Lind with us in our team, but she was handcuff to another officer in case if she tries to escape.

"Cecil, what was the last clue she gave to you? What do you think it is?"

"I told you Ben, the toilet." he sounded frustrated. I understood, it was hard for him. Having his girlfriend being gone and had no idea where to find her. It was rough for him.

After a long long ride, we finally reached Wales. We started splitting and the officer repeated what to do.

"We will have a week of time to look for them and we have to finnish all over Wales so everynight. We will need to call and report which places have you guys search and decide where will you guys go the next day. Now, move out! Remember, we must not do it only for our friend Williamson but also for those kids!"

"Yes sir!" who was Williamson I thought? Cecil and Jade were thinking the same thing too.

"Officer, who is Williamson?"

"Ah... All this while I haven't mention to you guys about him... Williamson is one of our best spies. We had actually sent him off to look for Scarlet but he was soon captured too. After we recieved the news about it,  we have not heard from him since.... he was a good guy." everyone kept quiet for a few seconds until Jade asked:"Why didn't you guys use a GPS?"
