Chapter 24

"How?!" Edmund asked. Cecil, Edmund, Jade and I were in the park after I informed them what happened.

"So you happy or sad?" Cecil asked.

"I must say I'm scared. You see if even Taella is killed then when is my turn?"

"It's okay babe nothing's going to happen..." Cecil gave me a hug. I was scared really, I never felt this way before. My phone rang again, it was again Williamson.

"Yes?"

"I'm heading back to London bringing back Taella's body and some stuff we found. We need you to come and identify the things. After that, do you kids want to go on an adventure after school tomorrow?"

"What adventure?" I asked. The three of them looked at me after I said the word adventure.

"You see the officers didn't want to investigate Linda's house again but I think there is mor eto it, want to come?"

"Sure!" I hung up and told them about it. Al i needed was an approval from Ben then I could go. After dinner, Ben and I went to the police station. Williamson told Ben about the adventure while I was in the room looking through the things that they got back. There was a ring, security cameras, clothes, a comb and some picture they had taken.

"The ring belongs to Taella, her wedding ring with Kent. Security cameras, did you guys find it behind the fridge?"

"Yes according to Mr. Bash you weren't allowed to eat so they put this, is it true?"

"Yes, the clothes I think it's Taella's, Linda and Lils aren't tall enough to wear these anyways. It's filthy, possibly Linda threw it out after they killed Taella, you guys found it outside the house?" I asked. The officers exchange faces.

"Wow you are a very smart young student. Yes we found it outside about a few metres from the house."

"Okay this comb, I think I saw this is Linda's room when she was living with me."

"What about these pictures. We took them so you can identify where is what." I explained to them, there was a picture of Linda's room and my room.

"What's tthat rope over there?" the officer pointed at the rope in the picture.

"Edmund was tied up with that rope. I wa threatened and said that if I don't do my work well, he will be in trouble."

"Well, okay good thank you Scarlet, it's already 9, I think you shhould head home."

"You're welcome and please, do call me if you need me." I said and I ran to Ben.

"So how was it?" Ben asked.

"It was fun actually."

"Well I heard about tomorrow after school."

"Can I?" I asked with my pleading eyes.

"I had already arrange it for you. Williamson will fetch you after school, Cecil can't go due to football training, Edmund's parents think it's oo dangerous and so does Jade's so only you two."

"Yes I will fetch you tomorrow come out right after school's finnish."

"You will need to be home by 8 at night."

"Can you two stop giving me instructions I know what's going on!" I said.

"Well then I will see you tomorrow." after that Ben and I headed home. It was late so we went straight to bed, or at least he went straight back to bed. I didn't felt sleepy, I felt so alive.

"Hey so you're going to school tomorrow?" Jade called while I was in the TV room watching a TV show.

"Ben says I have too."
