Chapter 27

"Ben!!! Williamson!!" I yelled for them right after I got the call but only Williamson showed up.

"Ben where are you?!" I continued yelling.

"Maybe he is out. Try calling him." Williamson said while taking out his phone.

"It can't be, maybe he is in his room. Ben never go out without informing me." I ran upstairs to his room. No lights were on, he wasn't in the bathroom, or sleeping in the balcony.

"Ben?" I said again but all I could hear was the birds outside.

"Scarlet!" it was Ben, he was downstairs.

"Ben!" I yelled while I ran down. I punched him, hit him many times on his torso while the tears fall of my eyes.

"Scarlet what's wrong?" he said, then I stopped.

"Cecil.... he's gone.... I need to go to his house...." I said while Ben gave me a hug. His hug was so nice it all seemed unreal.

"Mark!" Williamson yelled all of a sudden.

"Yes Williamson?" he came in.

"Stay here, guard the house. Ben, you will have to do so too. Something is happening, Mark can never hold it up himself. Scarlet, you come with me."

"Wait Scarlet has to go?" Ben said.

"Don't be so protective Ben, yes she has to go now come Scarlet." Williamson drove fast, really fast to Cecil's house.

"Ma'am I'm Williamson, one of Scarlet and Ben's security, or maybe agent. Your son may be in serious danger so please don't mind us, we will jist be investigating." Williamson said and rushed into the house to Cecil's room. Cecil's mom didn't even get anything, I understood it all happened too fast.

"Scarlet darling what's going on?!" she said.

"I'm so sorry Mrs. Krin firstly I know that I had come here two times already today but Cecil may be in danger now, had he went out of the house?" I asked. I knew she still did not understand anything but I didn't have time.

"Well he did go over to his football friend's house after you left and he said he won't be back for dinner so I supposed he will be really late."

"Scarlet?" this time, it was Chris.

"What have you done?" I just stared at him. No one would understand the angre in me towards my own boyfriend's brother.

"What do you mean?"

"Where is Cecil?"

"How should I know?"

"Wait is this about Linda again?" Mrs. Krin asked. I just nodded, walked past them and went to Cecil's room to look for Williamson.

"Chris is here. He is downstairs." I said feeling exhausted. Hw quickly ran downstairs while I followed behind.

"Ma'am may I ask where Chris is?" he asked Mrs. Krin.

"He just went out why?" she had a lot of questions, I could tell.

"Look ma'am your son Cecil is in serious danger and your older son Chris may be involve in all these mess which is again caused by Linda."

"How do you know he is in trouble?" she stood up not happy with what we said.

"Mrs. Krin Cecil hasn't pick up any of Edmund's or my calls which he would always pick up calls since his phone is always with him and it's already 9. Cecil's never out this late unless if he is in my place." I said. She thought for a while then freaked out.

"Oh my Cecil where is he?! We need to report to the officers now!!" she started pulling me to the door but Williamson stopped him.

"Mrs. Krin please calm down, Williamson here is a professional." I said.

"Yes I found some stuff from Cecil's room that may be useful. Herr are some papers and a torn picture of Cecil and Scarlet. Ww need to head back to Scarlet's house right now."

"My house?!"

"I work there, my stuff are there. I'll see through these there." in the end I told Mrs. Krin everything was going to be alright and went home. Back home Ben was still in the living room with Mark.

"Why didn't you answer my calls?!" he yelled at me.

"Your what?" I took out my phone realizing it was on silent mode.

"Why did you call?"

"Cecil's brother came over and he nearly hit me on the head!" he yelled. I looked at Williamson hoping he would say something.

"Then what happened?"

"I was faster, I hit him and he passed out. I locked him in the guest room."

"Well now we know that Chris is definitely helping Linda. Cecil was captured by Chris not Linda and he is trying to do the same to Ben. Linda is trying to threaten you Scarlet, she is using your weakness against you." Williamson immediately said. Ben and I followed him upstairs to see Chris, he was already awake. Mark had tied him up, it was impossible for him to escape.

"Where the hell is Cecil?!" I slapped him. Not that I'm super angry just worried. Ben pulled me away futher from Chris.

"Untie me please." it was all he said. His phone rang, it came from his pocket. Ben immediately dugged into it to get it.

"It's Linda." he handed the phone to me.

"Should I pick it up? Or you shall do it?"

"I think you should." Williamson replied.

"Linda." I said strenly.

"Such an idiot isn't he? I knew he would not work properly as I told. But, I still need him so unless you give me Chris, I will kill Cecil, deal?" she said.

"Where the hell is Cecil?"

"Calm down Scarlet, he is with me, in the jungle where u were captured last time. I will give you 24 hours from now which is 11pm tomorrow night." without even getting to replying her, she hung up.

"Guess we're going back to the woods huh?" Williamson asked.
