Chapter 21

"You know you can always try to not listen!"

"Not listen to help you and get myself in trouble?!" he yelled while staring ate fiercely. He pulled my hand and sent me to my room. Edmund immediately was curious on what happened.

"Explain." he said.

"Your friend here decided to slam Linda's door and now, I have to tie her up." Williamson said while he pushed me down to the chair. I didn't understand why I didn't fight back.

"You know it seems more like you are helping Linda more than us." Edmund said.

"Well think what you want but I'm just here to safe myself. You are the second priority."

"Are you even a officer?!"

"No a spy. Now you two stay here, be good and wait until Linda comes and try not to do anything anymore." he said and he walked out.

"Such a dickhead..." Edmund said right after he walked off.

Cecil POV~

Ben and I were in the car. We started taking shifts since some of us needed a break.

"So, Cecil tell me about Scarlet, or maybe you and Scarlet." Ben broke off the silence.

"Erm well... we met since when we were 5. I didn't understand what was happening to Scarlet at that time. When we were 6, I understood that her parents had died and her foster parents treated her badly. My mother was the one who had always went there and scolded her foster parents."

"When did her parents died?"

"When she was 3, in a car crash. If you look closely on to Scarlet, you will notice a scar on a shoulder, about 5 cm long. She was the only one who survived in that car crash. When we were 7, we met Lilz but let's forget about her. When she was 9, things got worst and worst. My mother went to her house more and more often. Until when she was 11, her foster parents forced her into a threesome. She managed to escape and ran all the way to my house. My parents allowed her to live with me. She was so frightened, she couldn't sleep every night. I was so worried I had to forced myself to sleep only after she sleeps. Of course you should know by then I already liked her But she was already with my buddy Edmund...."

"I must say I was happy actually, people say that Edmund and I were almost like the same person so if Scarlet liked him, she probably likes me too." he giggled and I continued. 

"And so she stayed at my house for about 3 months. My father and I tried to convince her to report about thus but she just won't go. Atter that 3 months, she had to leave as my brother, Chris a gangster, was coming home. He bullys everyone that is related to me, of course even when Scarlet was The Black there was no way I'm letting her fight my brother..."

"The Black?" I was suprised Scarlet did not tell Ben about her being 'The Black'.

"The Black, we call her The Black. Whenever she wants to fight someone in school, she would wear all black with black make up. People usually don't choose to fight with her as she can kill you with just one punch but usually it's always Linda who comes. Scarlet knows how to punch, that's one thing, the other is a mouth. She can defeat a person with just one sentence. That is why now Edmund and Scarlet can get along even after what happened to them, of course it took a lot of time. They make a perfect team because Scarlet got the lips and hand while Edmund's got the brains."

"Well I guess that is quiet smart. Go on."

"Oh so when we were 13, something terrible happened again. She was beaten up by them almost everyday. She would come over almost few times a week and my parents would go there and scold her foster parents. When she came over, Chris always bully her, but he knew she was tough so he tried not to go so far..."
