"His gone crazy." Chris stated.

"Don't have to state the obvious Chris." I said out of confusion. Edmund had never really been those that you would expect them to go crazy, he was more of those that would help the crazy ones fix their problem.

"Edmund it's all alright you are safe now and I promise you we will get Jade back." Cecil knelt in front of Edmund and tried to comfort him. Williamson pulled me to the corner of the living room after he tied Edmund down.

"I estimate that Edmund had been badly attacked by Linda and Lilz right before they thrown him out of the car. Not once they got him but right before they decided to let him go." Williamson explained his point of view on this.

"Why before they let him go? Just for fun since he will be set free?" I asked.

"Not for fun but more off... If they did this to Edmund once they got him, it won't be much fun for them because they will need to keep a crazy maniac."

"Edmund is not a maniac and he is not crazy."

"Currently he is one but give him a few more days to calm down he should be able to help us."

"Wait one more thing, what is the point of attacking Edmund?"

"Most probably to show you what she can do."

"Hey I think it's best if Scarlet and Cecil take care of Edmund for now. Of course the rest of us will be helping you two but maybe you two should go to him more since you two are the closest to him." Ben said while he was walking towards us. Cecil was still there comforting him while Chris looked as if he had something in mind.

"Chris if you have any ideas don't feel shy explaining to us." I yelled out to him.

"First time you allowed me to speak my lady. Now, I was just thinking why now? Why yesterday not today not tomorrow where Linda returned Edmund?" Chris said.

"Is that even important to this situation?!" I said.

"No no Scarlet, he has a point. Go on." If Williamson said you have a point, you were probably on the right track.

"What if it was that Linda felt something from us. As in a signal or a connection? Did anyone of us here did something that implies the idea of having a connection with Edmund, Jade, Linda or Lilz?" He further explained.

"That does make a point but I thought I told you all not to use your phones?" Williamson said.

"Williamson? Remember when they were caught they didn't have their phones with them, but after a while those phones were gone. Where had it gone to?" I asked nervously having a sudden memory of what I might had did that caused all these.

"Obviously with Linda."

"Okay... so what if I said I used my phone to text Jade's phone for fun and..." I said nervously. They looked at me as if I was out of my mind, even Ben looked surprised and speechless.

"I told you not to use your phone."

"You said not to use our phones in the safe house." I opposed.

"That was quite smart indeed. Okay I will be planning tonight on what to do. Scarlet charge up your phones and the rest of you should get some rest, it will be a long day tomorrow."

After that confession I still didn't felt right, I felt as if I had did something so terrible it had almost got a person's life, which was exactly what that happened, it's true that Edmund was nearly killed, next was Jade. Ben must had found out that I felt guilty and came and talked to me in my bedroom.

"Where are the rest?" I asked.

"Cecil and Chris are in bed. Williamson is taking care of Edmund in the living room."

"You know how I'm feeling right." I said trying to avoid eye contact.

"Yes."

"I feel so terrible." and I collapsed on to my bed.

"You know, many things we do, there will be pros and cons. Just think of it as.... you texted Jade's phone which helped us got Edmund back but at the same time they found out where we are." he said while he walked towards me and gave me a hug:"You should sleep now, I have a feeling tomorrow will be a long day for the all of us."

"Isn't everyday a long day since this happened?" I whispered to myself while Ben walked out.

I walked out of my room after several hours of just rolling in bed to able to fall asleep and went down to look for Williamson.

"Hey." I shooked him awake. He was sleeping on the couch with his laptop on his lap.

"Morning already?"

"No, it's 2 in the morning."

"I'm dreaming." and he went back to sleep. I decided not to bother him since he was obviously tired, so I wanted to walk back to my room, then I realized Edmund was not asleep, and he was still tied on the bed.

"Edmund?" He turned and stared at him while I slowly walked towards him.

"Edmund, it's me Scarlet." No answers.

"Edmund, do you remember me?" He nodded. For a second I thought he had forgotten me.

"What did Linda do?"

"Jade..." He said.

"Yes, we will get Jade back for you." at this time I was already kneeling beside him.

"Jade..."

"Is there anything you want me to do?" He took quite a while to answer.

"You know.... when I was captured by Linda, she was always mean to me, always blackmailing Jade and I...."

"That's her style."

"But come to think of it.... you're also using us." I kept quiet, not knowing what to say.

"You're a monster, and my best friend, but still a monster. Too bad this is what Linda asked for so that Jade can come back."

"Wait what did she...." before I could finish, I stabbed in the stomach.

"Wi... williamson..." I murmured. I didn't have much energy left, but I could still see. I saw Edmund, escaping from his chair, carried me on to the kitchen counter, took a small container, and put the droplets of my blood into it.

"You stay right here, I suggest you not to move."

"Williamson." I whispered with the energy I have left and blacked out completely.
