"What are you doing here?"
Kagami could only look up at the man in front of him. The headache was gone, but there was something that was keeping him from moving. He'd never felt anything like it, he felt so trapped.
He tried to sit up properly but it seemed like he wasn't even able to do that. He wanted to change his scene and get away but that didn't seem to be an option either. He had no idea what was so wrong with him all of a sudden.
The man spoke again, his voice low and gravelly, "Answer me."
Kagami didn't like being bossed around by a human, but he didn't want to make him angry, especially since he was unfortunately at the human's mercy. "I'm looking for someone."
"Who?" The human narrowed his blue eyes.
"Aomine Daiki." He didn't know why he told this human, he just felt like the human might have information.
The human's eyes widened slightly and he visibly swallowed. "Keep looking." Without another word, the human reached down and touched Kagami's forehead. A searing pain shot through Kagami's head, he couldn't take it. He squinted his eyes shut, trying to block out the pain.
Then as suddenly as it started, it stopped. Kagami opened his eyes again expecting to see the lush forest of the foothills, but instead he was back in his favorite empty spot in heaven. Completely alone.
