The kiss ended and for a moment, Kagami stayed looking at Aomine. He knew it was all too late, but he wanted to tell him that he truly loved him.

"Kagami-kun." The familiar voice made Kagami turn to see Kuroko standing there with Furihata. So they were the angels sent to collect him and Aomine. He should've known that the person who was his closest colleague and now who he would call a friend, would be the one to take him to face his consequences. Furihata looked as scared as ever, Kagami knew the angel had never done anything like this before, he was out of his depth. Even Kuroko wasn't normally sent to collect insubordinates. No, this was Akashi making it personal for Kagami.

Kagami already had his mind made up. He knew the decision would be hard and he didn't want to hurt anyone, but he wasn't going to give in easily. Kagami stood up, looking at him, "I won't let you take Aomine back to heaven."

"Kagami-kun," Kuroko stepped forward, his brow furrowed. He was actually showing some kind of expression, Kagami had never seen him do anything like that before. Kuroko pleaded, "You must bring him and return with us, you will be cast out if you continue to disobey."

"I will not." He stepped back, standing next to Aomine. He took hold of Aomine's hand, holding it tightly, "Please don't follow me, Kuroko."

He looked at Aomine and Aomine only nodded, as if he knew what Kagami was planning. Kagami quickly changed their scene to an urban area he'd visited on his search for Aomine. He couldn't go too far since he was bringing Aomine with him, but he would do his best to keep going until Kuroko gave up.

He could feel the disturbance in the air. Kuroko and Furihata were definitely coming. He held on tightly to Aomine's hand again, pulling him to another area. The hospital where Aomine helped the dying soul. Kagami knew Kuroko and Furihata were close behind. He was about to change the scene again when Aomine took his hand out of Kagami's grip. Kagami looked at him, his brow furrowing in confusion.

Aomine smiled a little, "Let me help. I can send them back to heaven." Kagami narrowed his eyes a little more, not realizing what Aomine meant. Aomine smirked, "Don't you remember? I sent you back to heaven."

Kagami nodded, he remembered the intense pain and waking up in heaven. It'd been a while since he had the headache that he'd nearly forgotten. "Right, you're impurity made me retreat."

"I just need to be near enough to them to touch them," Aomine looked into Kagami's eyes. Kagami knew he was serious, he wanted to trust that Aomine could handle it, but he didn't want to risk losing him. Aomine brought his hand up to rest on Kagami's cheek, "Trust me, let them come."

Kagami rested his hand over Aomine's squeezing his eyes shut, something wet being pushed out of his eye and roll onto his cheek. He nodded, letting Kuroko and Furihata catch up to them.
