Chapter 10 - New Friends

---Jason's POV---

After that tiring day, we all went to bed. But I couldn't sleep.

I was thinking: How? How is this possible? I thought Notch erased him.

Suddenly, I could hear something. He was in the house. And he was placing something all over the house. I wanted to get up, but I couldn't. I couldn't even scream. That bastard.

Oh no. I knew that sound. It was TNT. He was going to kill us. 

Then I heard a voice echoing into my head.

Jake?!

"Goodbye, Jason. I hope you said your prayers."

"Why? Why are you doing this to me? To us?"

"To fulfill my master's will."

Then he began to laugh maniacally. Then he lit the TNT.

Suddenly, I could scream again.

"JACK! BECKY! WAKE UP! GET OUT OF THE HOUSE!"

"What' s happening...?"

"I SAID GET OUT! TROUGH THE WINDOW!"

"Ok!"

But it was too late. I knew we weren't going to make it.

We were already outside, when I heard the boom. It sent me flying forwards.

Luckly, I landed in the river. Nothing injured. That's weird.

But I saw something even wierder.

The Sword was right in front of me. Seems that it follows me.

Luckly, I had a wooden case with me. Built it for the Sword. I put it in the case, then back in my inventory.

Suddenly, I heard something.

"Guys! There's someone here! Come on!"

I could see them now. They weren't villagers, though.

"Who are you?" I asked. "Or maybe, what are you? You don't look like villagers, or witches.

"Neither do you." said the first.

"My name is Jason."

"My name is Sam. They are Chris, Jerome and Adam. We make part of the search party from the Excalibur village."

"Pleased."

"Are there any survivors except you?"

"I don't know... There was a girl and a boy with me. The dirl had long, brown hair and was dressed in a purple jacket and some blue jeans, and the boy had white hair and was dressed in a grey jacket with a hoodie on his head and some blue pants. But again, what are you?"

"Look, I know it sounds weird, but we got trapped in here looong time ago."

"Wait. Are you-"

"The test subjects? Yeah. We were testing some kind of portal. It was just a prototype, so of course it broke. We needed to go trough the same portal to get back home, so it was impossible to get back. We satyed here and found a village. We helped the people from that willage, and they let us to stay at them. Now we were chosen to make part of that search party."

"I got trapped here too. I am the one that sent you here."

"Are you serious? But there were two of you."

"The other bastard sent me here. Think he went nuts. But enough chit-chatting, let's find shelter. There can be mobs."

Suddenly, we heard the sound of an arrow being released. It went right into Chris' chest.
