Chapter 16 - Here Comes The Pain

---Becky's POV---

I can't believe he did that... Oh, God, I thought he loved me...

But no matter how much pain I felt, I needed to go back to the camp.

When I was about to get in my room, Sam came.

"Hey, Becky, I-" then he trailed off. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine."

"You sure? You look-"

"I'm FINE."

Then I left to my room. I got on the bed and began thinking: Why would he do this? Why would he cheat on me? And as I was asking myself this, I fell into a dreamless sleep.

---<Next Morning>---

"Becky! Becky, wake up!"

"Uhh... Yeah?" I saw Jack standing on my side.

"Jason's gone. Have you seen him?"

"No." I said while I was getting out of bed.

"God DAMMIT!" he yelled, then kicked the wall. "I'm sorry, but we're in trouble. Larissa's gone too."

"Really? Good for her." I mumble to myself.

"What?"

"Oh. Nothing. Have you searched their rooms?"

"Yes. We didn't find anything that could help in Larissa's room, but we found a strange book in Jason's."

"Can I see it?"

"Go ahead. But we couldn't open it. It has some kind of lock."

I took the book and saw what he was talking about.

"Wait. I think I can open it."

"Really?"

"Yeah. This is his journal. He has two keys at him, but I took one. You know, Just in case."

"Oh."

I took the key, and I opened the journal. There were all kinds of old notes and recipes for potions - hothing helpful. But then I saw a page dyed with red ink. then on the other page, it said: "Day 1. We have been trapped in this game by Jake, for no apparent reason. And by "we" I mean me and Becky." On the other pages were written notes by him, for every day. I searched on the last written page. There it said:

"If anyone sees this, then I must explain why am I gone. Herobrine knows how to get out of this world, but I must meet him in the old village tomorrow when the sun rises. I must be gone by now, and probably... well... dead.

If you see this, tell Becky that I'm sorry."

"Oh... God..." I said trough the tears.

"Becky..."

"We must go save him."

"But-"

"We NEED to! We can't just let him die!"

" *Sigh* Fine. But we need to take some people with us. I'll tell Jack, Charlie and Ben."

Jack and Charlie said they will come.

"Sure. Anything for my sis." Said Ben when we asked him.

Soon we were ready to go.

"Come on! We're almost there!" I said.

"Alright, I'll go scout. You stay here." said Sam. Then he went outside the cave. Soon after he came back. "Follow me. But be QUIET. There are some of them there."

"Okay."

After that, we got out from that cave and hid behind a wall.

"Alright, listen. Over that wall are three guards. We need to take them down. I, Ben and Charlie will go take them out. Becky, you stay here."

"Alright."

"After that, we move up and hide over that house over there, to have a clear view."

"Got it."

"Okay."

"Let's do this."

"Good. Let's go!"

After that, we hid in the house Sam mentioned. I could see Jason sitting on his knees in front of Herobrine and other pigmen with helmets on their heads. Then I saw Herobrine kick Jason in the mouth.

I couldn't resist and screamed. "NO! JASON!"

"Wh-What? Becky... Run- AAH!" Again, he got kicked.

I tried to run towards him, but Jack held me.

"LET ME GO!"

"Ooh! Seems that Jason didn't keep his promise. Bad boy, Jason!" Kick. "You just needed backup, didn't ya?" Kick. "Minions! Take care of the trash."

Then some wither skeletons and pigmen came towards us.

"Becky, hide!" Sam yelled.

I hid in the house. Soon after, I could hear the sword clashing. Then it all stopped.

I got out, and saw the boys lying on the ground, Jason too.

"Get them to the dungeon. And bring the girl too."

"Yes, sir!"

I tried to run, but a guard found me.

"Heheheh. Gotcha, sweetheart."

"NOO! LEAVE ME!"

But then he knocked me out.
