Ever believed in curses? I'm not convincing but I'm telling you it's true.

My immortality is a curse that I can never break - loved ones are lost and I was enlisted to live through the pain.

I live alone in this big old-fashioned house with my maid and butler that knew who I was and whom I trust.

Yes I am rich and had all the materials the world could offer I got it from my own works and crafts, richness that I don't need.

In the human calendar I am 20 years old but I had gone through 343 years of living. I adapted everything that is being brought by this world.

"Mr. Bacardi" my butler called "You're accountant has arrived"

"Let him in Mr. Miller" as he opened the door

"Aaah, Bernard how delighted I am to see you" standing up to shake his hand

"Thank you sir" as he sat

"Sir, your grape vine had been expanded as planned and we are still on the list of best supplier." handing me report sheets

"I am grateful Mr. Bernard for keeping your loyalty and hardwork" as he left me some copies of chart and business proposals and him leaving.

"Sir, you are happy today" Miller coming in

"Yes Miller I can feel that today is my day"

HAIFA's POV

"College sucks" as I approached my best friend Sandy

"Tell me about it so, will you go to the party on the woods later?" she asked pleasing me

"Of course I will" as I head to my car and drove home.

I turned on the music volume and chose my clothes for the party later.

I had been open to myself after I found out my ex-boyfriend had cheated on me and decided to move on.

After shower I checked my phone and had 23 missed calls from Sandy so I had to call her back.

"Why aren't you answering my calls?" she shouted

"I was in the shower"

"I'm picking you up and my brother's ready - Hello?" she said sarcastically

"Let me wear on my clothes you don't want me to be fetched naked don't you?"

"Eeeeew your gross" as I hanged up.

Almost done I could hear them honking and that was Sandy's brother car so I had to grab my phone and jacket and ran to them.

"What took you so long?" Sandy greeting me

"That wasn't long"

"I'm excited to this first party you'll ever be" she giggled

"Hey Jared" greeting him and he was Sandy's lovely brother who had just got out of the army.

"Hey, I heard what happened. It's his lost" he said

"Thanks" as I look at Sandy for telling him about my ex.

"What? He's my brother" she said as Jared started to drive

"It's okay Haifa, nothing to be ashamed off" Jared said as Sandy and I sat in silence

"Okay girls, before anything else. Only drink from your cups - only from your cups" Jared giving advice
