I was looking at the window when I felt someone had come to my room.

Charles had come in 3 steps away from it.

He looked at me and didn’t talk I knew he just want to look at me and maybe hear my thoughts.

I walked to him and hugged him tight

“I’m sorry” I told him as I cried

He held my head and pushed a force to his chest

“Haifa, I never meant to –“he said as I cut him

“No it was my fault I shouldn’t have told you –“he cut in

“Sssshhhh – darling it’s not your fault it was mine I didn’t control myself” he said

“I was scared that you’d be gone” I told him as I sob more

“Bullet will not kill me Haifa, but you leaving me would” he said

“I’m sorry Haifa, I heard Chris’ thought and I couldn’t bare hearing it” he added as he wiped my eyes

“Charles what did you do to him?” I asked

“I refuse to answer” he said I cried to his chest as his silence made it real that Chris is dead.

“Can you promise me something?” I told him

“What is it?” he asked

“At least give Chris his funeral rights” I told him

“Theuos is on to it, I agree that he should have it too” he answered

“Haifa, why didn’t you told me he had beaten you?” he asked

“Because I made myself forget about it” I told him

“You had live through hell and I cannot let that go” he said

“What will happen to Chris’ body?” I asked

“Haifa” he said as I cutted him for wanting to know the truth

“Please, I at least need to know about it” I told him

“Theuos will make it as if he had jumped on a cliff and call the police, we have removed the gunpowder to his hands” Charles said and speaking of gun I pushed myself away to him and looked to his chest

“Are you okay?” I asked

“Yes I am” he answered

“You were shot” I said

“Alea is the best medical vampire that I’ve known, she had fixed me” Charles said

“Please don’t do that again” I said as I hugged him back

“Why did you wait for me to tell you to defend yourself?” I asked

“Because he is still important to you and I don’t want to invade it” he said

“Charlotte has the ability to make you forget things by his charms and hypnotism” he said

“I am to think if you want it?” he said as I curled my hands to his chest

“Yes I want it” I told him and then Charlotte had come

“I was called of my service” Charlotte said as she went in

“Will this hurt?” I asked her
