“Where is Charles?” Sandy asked

“He’s out of town, some business to take care” I told her

“Hey I invited Liam for dinner and I would like you to come” she said

“Why?” I asked

“Because you’re my best friend” she said

“Is that tonight?” I asked

“Yes this night” she said as we head on to class

This day got lousy without Charles. No one greets me with a smile like him. No one did tell me I was beautiful today. No one waked me up today. And I missed Charles.

I looked on my phone and there was no message. I remembered him telling me he’d call and text me. But for this time there was none of it.

“Hey see you later” Sandy said as I head on to the parking lot.

I went home and look for something to wear on as my phone rang. So I hurriedly grab it.

“Hello” I said

“Darling, hearing your voice makes me live again” Charles said

“I was waiting the whole time for you to call” I said

“I’m sorry it had to be long for your wait, tracking had some hindrances and we were resolving everything” he said

“I understand” I said

“How is your day darling?” he asked

“School was good and I’m heading to Sandy’s house for dinner, she invited Liam and would want me to be there” I said

“She needs your support” he said

“I hope you could come home now” I said

“I am making every effort and doing work as I can to finish this darling, I promise I’ll be home as soon as I can” he said

“And I’ll be here waiting for you” I said

“As long as I want to talk to you I have to go, Theuos had track something and I need to tend them” he said

“Bye Charles I love you” I said

“I love you too darling enjoy the night” he said as he hanged up

CHARLES POV

We are getting wary to what’s leading us too.

The Vampire that had come here wanted us to be here.

“It smells different to any that I could remember off” I told Theuos

“The smell had gone to East” Johnson said

“This will lead us nowhere Mr. Mulvey” I said

“This scent lead to another border, if it may want to trap something it’s not today brother” I told him.

“I understand Mr. Bacardi” he said

“We had embedded its scent to us if we ever may come to cross him words from us will travel to you” I said

“Thank You for your help Mr. Bacardi” Mr. Mulvey said

“We are to head on to our path Mr. Wolf we may see each other again” I told him and looked in Johnson who had agreed to our leave.

Theuos and I travelled back to our place and I had wanting to be back as quickly as I could to be with Haifa.

“Theuos, send a word to the Holy Order and I will wait you to our place” I said as he hurriedly went to the East.
