CHAPTER 22

 GARRETT

 “Damn You Charles!” I shouted as my seekers came to silence

 “What do we do now Master?” a seeker asked

 “Regroup and plan for the next attack – we need to diverge Charles away from the war” I ordered

 “You! Come here and listen to me group your selves and investigate Charles and his team – fasten your work and be back as soon as possible”

 “Yes Master” answered the seeker

 “Master, the team court had been well guarded again” Ramsay – my second in command reported

 “We easen the tension and let them think we had retreated” I told him

 “What’s our next plan Master?” he asked

 “Group up and send some eyes, then we plan for our next attack”

 CHARLES

 I went back up on our duty as the sun left the sky.

 “It’s silent out here” Charlotte said as she went near me

 “And the wind is at it’s rest” I answered back

 “They sent eyes” she said

 “Yes, and we avoid them to see – blindspot them” I ordered

 “We stick to the master plan as much as we could we avoid filling gaps” I told her and she went down as I stayed.

 I had thought of Haifa of what she could have been doing with Carlos and Miller, if they had arrived safely or have Haifa eaten her dinner? – I cannot send out anyone so as to avoid them getting to be known.

 “General, the Concord summons you” a guard told me as I took a deep breath and moved from my position.

 “You summoned me my dear Concord?” I asked him

 “My dear son, I do wish to tell you that I don’t want to be out of the court if I may say so” he requested

 “My dear Concord, please do go with the master plan, for it is your safety that we do wish” I said

 “But I do feel safe here” he said

 “You are safe with the place we would send you Concord” I answered

 “Well, very well my dear son – I trust you” he said

 “Thank you dear Concord” i asnwered and left

 I walked on to the hallway of the court and looked inch by inch of the corner making things clear – remembering the scent that I pass through.

 I visited the jail where we cage the vampire who is worthy to be heard and saw my old friend Rohan.

 “Rohan, my old friend what made you come here?” I asked as he was surprised to see me.

 “I am not worthy to be called your old friend anymore Harold” he said

 “But why?” I asked

 “I am a disgrace now, we have been friends and you taught me well more than to this” he said

 “I’m sorry Rohan, I never knew you were hear” I said

 “Yes Charles, I deserve to be here” he said

 “What may have caused you?” I asked

 “Unlike Theuos who had defeated his will of revenge – I never got old of it, everytime that I will to be good like the others – the will pushes me to kill more not just humans but vampire” he said
