CHAPTER 5

CHARLES POV

I felt different around Haifa and felt like I am somebody else with her like human again.

"How did you control your thirst for blood?" she asked as I drove her home.

"When I learnt how to fit in" I answered and she was silent

"But sometimes I cheat and slay criminals" I answered as she was looking at me reading my wholeness.

"Let me show you my secret place" I said as I head on to the outskirts near my mansion.

"Oh my God so beautiful" she exclaimed as she stands near a cliff

"The more you show things like this to me the more I want to be like you" she said

"There's no turning back when you're like me" I said

"It's okay I can deal with it as long as you're there" she said

Then I went near her to make my move and took her hands.

"Haifa, I know this is too fast for you to imagine but I have come to love you more and more that I see you each day - will you accept me to be your partner?" I asked and she was silent and her eyes were widened and then she jumped me.

"Of course I would" she said as she gave me a tight hug.

"Thank Goodness you reacted that way or what else should I do" I told her.

"So will you spend your night with me?" I asked

"Of course I would" she answered

"Can I just pick up something in my house?" she asked and I nodded

HAIFA's POV

I was glad that Charles is officially my boyfriend, my stomach was filled with butterflies and I can't admit more that I was in love with him too.

I was packing my clothes for my short stay in his house and some of my toiletries.

"Are you ready?" he asked as I went out of my room.

And then took my bag and went out as I lock my house then went to his car.

"Ready?" he asked again

"Uh-huh" I exclaimed

He drove to his mansion and Mr. Miller was already waiting for us.

He went out first and opened my door and said "I welcome you to my humble home"

Humble? I asked myself this is not humble this is extravagant.

"I didn't notice the details when the first time I came here" I said as I looked how beautiful it is more.

"When did this place was built?" I asked as we went in

"150 years ago" he answered

"Wow" I said as I followed him.

"I think dinner for the human first" he said as he wrapped his arm as we walked

"This is too much" I said as I saw the table for two perfectly made for us.

Then Charles pulled the chair and let me sit then tackled it again.

"This is Rose's specialty Chicken - aah, I don't know what she calls this" he said as I chuckled.

I had a taste and it was very much delicious.

"Why are you not eating?" I asked

"I am so full darling" he said
