CHAPTER 14

Charles had looked on Theuos like they were talking in their minds.

After a while Theuos had called me outside.

“What’s going on?” I asked him

“I can’t tell you anything my lady, Master will tell you his self” Theuos said

“Well that scared me” I said

“Don’t be my lady Master will dearly protect you” he said

“At least tell me something” I said

“My lady, I can’t I don’t know what to say and not to say” he said

“Okay, I’ll be on my room” I went up puzzled unknowingly what to do or what to think.

I sat on bed and rethink of what I heard as I start to unpack my things.

Well, will this means Charles will be away from me again? Or worst is that he’ll need to break up with me and focus on his work?

As those questions hit my head I didn’t continue unpacking I made them stay that way.

I just have to prepare for the worst.

God, please don’t make it happen. Don’t make the things I thought happen please.

Then there was a knock.

“My lady?” Mr. Miller knocked

“Come in Mr. Miller”

“Are you feeling okay?” he asked

“Yes Mr. Miller thank you” I answered

“Do you need anything?” he asked

“No I am fine” I answered

“If My lady is fine what could be bothering her?” Mr. Miller asked

“Mr. Miller you think Charles would make a hasty decision without asking me?” I asked

“My Lady, I had been working for Mr. Bacardi for years he never makes a decision that would risk you to something” he said

“I guess that’s what I wanted to hear” I said

“Now My Lady Mr. Bacardi will hate you thinking too deep. I will be back for dinner” he said and left.

I lay in bed and didn’t do anything I just checked my phone and watched videos to remove my mind from thinking about it.

CHARLES POV

I signed Theuos to let Haifa out.

And as they left Bethelda said “I can see you loved the human Mr. Bacardi”

“Yes I really do” I answered

“But I assume you do know that she would be in great danger if you let her stay” Bethelda said

“I don’t have much choice to think of” I said

“And I can really see that she’s in love with you” She said

“How can you say that?” I asked

“We are Vampire’s Mr. Bacardi and I assumed she knows what we eat instead of fearing for her life, she chose to stay and trusted you with it” Bethelda said “Mr. Bacardi, you do know that you cannot say no to the Holy Order”

“I know that very well Bethelda – I know that very well” and went near the window

“The only choice left now is to make her one of us” Bethelda said
