CHAPTER 21
CHARLES’ Pov
“The first attack had begun we must be careful and at all times ready” telling everyone
“It may be uncomfortable but we must stick together and please welcome our aid Mr. Mulvey” seeing the werewolves
“For now the highest guards will guard the Concord but I want you to be in your post – dismiss” I ordered everyone as they walked on to their rooms
“Come now darling, it’s time for you to rest now” as I held on to her hands
In the room Haifa was changing her clothes and her body clock is not for humans anymore but for our time.
“Haifa, get some sleep now darling, the sun is almost to shine I’ll bring down the curtains” untangling the tie from the windows
“Charles” she said as I lay down with her
“Change me now so I can protect myself too” she said
“I would if it would be easy for you” I replied
“You are very good at your work and I am deeply impress at how you killed that creature” she said
“Thank You darling” I answered
“Haifa, there will be plan changes tomorrow and one might be you getting out of here” i said
“No – you’re making it hard for me, why can’t you just change me instead of sending me away?” she asked and she had a point
“Because this is not it’s suppose to be Haifa – I do not want to hasten you to this, this life look at how those creatures are, look how we act for God’s sake look at all of us” I answered
HAIFA’s POV
I was sadly emancipated to out arguement about Charles sending me away.
“I don’t get it” I told him
“Haifa, please you’re making everything hard for me” he said
“What?” I asked
“Please darling, listen to me” he said as I didn’t want to talk more, he was right I put myself here – he didn’t force me I forced myself in.
“Where will you send me?” I asked in surrender
“To my resting place” he said
“What?” I asked as it meant different to me
“To the place where I died” he answered
“Carlos will pick you up here tomorrow and will asisst and guide you there” he said
“For how long will I need to stay there?” I asked
“As long as I figure everything out” he answered
Then tears had fallen to my eyes.
“Don’t cry darling it’s hard for me too, it’s not your fault – no one wanted this to happen”
“I’m sorry for making it difficult for you” I said
“Please, I never meant to say that – I am just scared for you and most of all loosing you” he said
“Now darling rest you’ll need it very much” he said as I went back to bed and lay down.
“Please just be with me tonight please” I begged
