I Don't Care if You're Sick

Jalex and School

Vic's POV

Candace, possibly the worst nurse in the entire facility walked up to me and pulled me away from the lunch, "What did I do?" I asked trying to think of anything particularly bad I had done since she'd been head nurse.

"Nothing, but St. Alphonse would like you to join Kellin for snack today. It's supposed to help him eat, are you interested in that?" I nodded my head eagerly, "Yes! What time?" Candace sighed and checked her watch, "3:00 so we'll leave after school." She walked away and I couldn't help but smile.

I ate the rest of my lunch in a better mood and didn't even mind that it tasted terrible. The rest of that patients asked why I was so happy, "I'm going to see Kellin today! He won't eat so they're going to see if he'll eat if I come." They were all happy for me, everyone loved Kellin.

"That's great dude!" Alex smiled, "Do you guys want to hear some good news for me?" His smile turned into a smirk and we all shook our heads enthusiastically, "I'm leaving tomorrow!"

Everyone cheered, even Jack who even though he looked disappointed he also looked happy, "Alex, that's so great, don't forget any if us okay?" He laughed, "Of course not! I love you all, especially you Jack." He suddenly leapt up and jumped across the table onto Jacks lap and kissed him.

That broke like three rules at once, no touching, no getting on furniture that you're not supposed too, and no inpatient relationships. Everyone cheered and Ashely laughed his ass off as nurses rushed in to separate the two.

I swear I fell off my chair laughing so hard as Jack kicked one of them below the belt and he doubled over in pain.

Finally subdued, Alex smiled around the room "I've wanted to do that since we first met, four months ago when you first got here." Jack blushed and the rest of the patients 'awed'.

"Alex, you're moved to level 1." Candace walked in angrily, he simply shrugged, "I'm leaving tomorrow, why would I care?" She glared but left the room as did the rest of the nurses besides Ashley.

"That was awesome Alex, I didn't know you were that athletic." Commented Ashley teasingly, Alex rolled his eyes, "I can when I want too." Jack moved over closer to Alex on the bench and took his hand under the table.

They were so cute together.

"Alex, Jack, one of you are moving to a different room tonight I'm guessing so one of you should pack." Informed Ashely, Alex nodded, "I'll do it since I need to pack anyways." Jack sighed in despair that his best friend was leaving even though I knew he was really happy for him as well.

Alex grabbed a hall pass and gave it to the receptionist and told her he was leaving tomorrow and wanted to pack now. She walked with him to his room to unlock his door and make sure that was what he was actually doing as Alex had a bad reputation of being a trouble maker.

After the excitement we had a few minutes till school, I hoped my door was still unlocked so I could slip in, school was boring and didn't teach shit here.

Our teacher came into the lounge to tell us it was time, like usual I was the last to leave the room, straggling behind so I could get into my room unnoticed by the teacher.

No one stoped me as I crept up to my door and juggled the handle, damn, it was locked and I don't have anything to pick it with. We weren't allowed bobby pins and I was a boy any ways.

I sulkily caught up to the rest of the group and sat in the back next to Alex and Jack. "Door was locked huh?" Alex asked, stretching and putting his feet on the desk in front of him. "No feet on the table Mr. Gaskarth." Reminded the teacher I'd never bothered to ask or remember her name. That was rude on my behalf I guess.

"Do you have work to do?" She directed the question to all three of us as none of us had brought any supplies and didn't have a pack to do.

Jack flipped her off as she turned around to grab us something when we shook our heads. "Jack, she might see and then where will you be?" He smiled, "Level 1 just like you."
"You already are 1, you swore at Kelly the other day."
"Oh right, I completely forgot."

She came back with three assignments, we looked throughout the them, they were all boring. Alex grabbed the one about stars, I forgot how he liked space. Jack grabbed a random one and I took the last one on world history, I hated history really.

After school it was 2:15, Candace walked up to me, "Okay, shower and dress then we can go." I complied and took a quick shower and threw on some random band tee and black skinny jeans along with some bracelets to cover up scars.

We got to St. Alphonse at 2:50 and had wait for five minutes before they let me up to Kellin's room. I rushed up the stairs, ignoring the slow elevator Candace took and went to room 221. I knocked gently I waited for Kellin's soft voice to answer it.

"Come in." I walked in to find Kellin sitting in an upright position with the blankets over the bottom half of him. "Vic!" I ran over to him and hugged him tight, he gripped me close and then pushed me away and looked into my chocolate eyes.

"I've missed you." He said softly, I smiled and nodded, "Me too." He leaned up and captured my lips with his own. I kissed him back before remembering that Candace would be here any second, I broke the kiss but grinned, "Someone will come in soon to get us food and stuff." I told him as he pouted.

No sooner had I said that then a doctor and two nurses including our head nurse walked in, the second nurse held a test of tacos! I love tacos, "Did you get tacos just for me?" Kellin blushed and nodded, I smiled and sat on his bed across from him criss-cross-applesauce and he did the same.

"You two have twenty minutes to eat this snack okay? Don't eat from each others plate and finish it all."
"Okay, Jaime." Kellin looked down at his plate that held two street tacos and then looked at mine that held the same. Street tacos were smaller then regular ones so they were easy to eat four or five of them. But Kellin already looked sick and he hadn't taken a bite yet.

"If you eat I'll eat."
