Kellin's POV

I stared at the food set before the two of us, the small salad I had eaten three hours ago still sat unsettling in my stomach.

"I'll eat if you eat." I looked up to Vic in surprise, Vic ate whatever was put before him, sure he usually tried to convince me to eat but he'd never gone as far as saying he won't eat if I don't.

"I'm really not hung-" I started but Vic cut me off "Look, whether that's true or not, I don't know. What I do know is that you need food to stay alive and I want you to stay alive so please just eat." I looked down guilty at the two small tacos, they were about 300 calories together.

"Kells, stop worrying. You're beautiful so please, eat with me?"  I sighed and tried to clear my mind of Ed, it was just a meal with Vic.

Vic head a taco up to his mouth and motioned for me to do the same. I closed my eyes and took a bite, it was good but Ed was screaming at me. I tried to ignore the voice and just focus on the flavor and Vic, "So, how's everyone?" Vic shrugged, "Alex is leaving tomorrow,  Jack was super sad but then guess what?" I took another bite and through a mouthful asked, "What?"

"Alex jumped up from across Jack and landed on his lap and kissed him. Right in front of Ashely and the camera and everyone else!" I almost choked on my bite, "In front of everyone? Is he crazy, what happened next?" Vic shook his head as he finished off his first taco, "Finish yours." I did, eager to know more details.

"Well three nurses had to pull them apart and Ashely just laughed it was great." I laughed with Vic and couldn't help but think this was how it was supposed to be, being with Vic and actually feeling happy.

I finished the last taco with Vic through much coaxing but I ate it. "I'm proud of you." He leaned over and kissed me lightly, "S-sor-" I interrupted his blushing stuttering and kissed him roughly.

He climbed on top of me, shoving the trays to the floor with a clatter, I suspected the nurses would hear and come in so I pushed him off me but smiled, "Nurses." I whispered just as Terry, one of the only male nurses I'd met came in.

"Uh." Vic got off me and blushed but I just smirked even though I was nervous as hell, "I'm going to pretend I didn't see that. Are you both done?" Terry was pretty chill with most things as far as I could tell.

"Yeah, don't tell Candace." He nodded and took the trays and left, "I do have to tell her you're done though, you'll be leaving soon Vic so you better finish up ." He called and left, Vic looked really embarrassed.

"Aw come on Vic, we still got some time." I leaned over and kissed him, crawling on top of him and making him lay down on the hospital bed. He started moving his hips so I grinded on him making him moan, "Quiet love." I whispered and captured his lips again with mine.

"They're coming!" He broke the kiss in urgency so I stopped and got off him, "Fine, we'll finish this later." I got back under the sheets and pulled them up to my waist and sat up just as the whole team came in.

"I'm glad you ate, maybe Vic can join you for lunch tomorrow, would you like that?" Jaime asked with s small smile, "Yes please, I'd like that a lot." He nodded and turned to Candace, "Would you allow that?" She thought for a second and sighed, "I'm sure I could manage to spare him then." Vic and I broke into smiles.

"What would you want to eat for lunch?" I shrugged, "I don't know, Vic, you decide." Vic shrugged, "I don't know, what don't you like?" I rolled my eyes at him, "Food isn't really my forte if you haven't noticed."

"Okay, Big Macs cuz I know you like those."
"You remember that I like those? I told you that a week or so again." He gave me a weird look, "Why wouldn't I remember it?"
"No one ever pays attention and remembers details about me, even my family."
"Well, I do. I'll never let you down, I promise."

It took all I had not to kiss the fuck out of the Mexican boy who just melted my heart. I got up and settled with just hugging him and holding him close so he knew how much that meant to me.

"Thank you."  I released him and got on my bed and smiled, Jaime glared slightly at me but I didn't know or give a shit why.

"Okay, well I'll see you tomorrow then, Vic. Thanks for helping Kellin, you're a kind hearted guy." He flashed a winning smile and ushered the two out, his hand on Vic's lower back making me slightly jealous but I reassured myself that they didn't even know each other and Vic loved me.

Jaime came back, "How's Vic?" I raised an eyebrow out him, "Why do you care, do you know him?"
"Actually, yeah. Vic came to my medical school for a semester last year and roomed with me." Jealousy and suspicion cleared, they were just friends.

"He's okay, I mean, he is in a mental hospital." Vic nodded, "Yes, yes of course. Why's he there?" "It's his third time, suicide attempt again." "Damn, poor kid. He's only sixteen right?" I nodded.

"Well, you're having dinner in a few hours, what would you like?" I hated this question, I mean really, I didn't want anything. "Whatever I guess as long as it doesn't taste like shit like most of your hospital 'food'." I put quotations around 'food' as it barely seemed like food.

Jaime left but before he did I asked if my parents were going to visit me or if they even knew I was here, "Sorry, I don't know but they are paying for this so they do know you're here."

I sighed, I knew they didn't care but this was just cruel. I turned over and decided I could sleep as there was nothing else to do here.

Maybe I could sleep my troubles away.
