All of my shorts/ capri pants are at home. I can open my drawers here and try to magically summon a pair of shorts but it just isn't happening. I actually don't wear shorts...more like capris.
But that being said, I went shopping the other day. I tried on a pair of shorts, maybe they were capris (it was a few weeks ago). I fell in love with a pair of white shorts. I just stood in the fitting room staring at them and thinking that I had to get them. I wasn't leaving the store without them!
I tired on all the shirts I had picked out with them too...ah, these shorts were just perfect! Then it hit me. They. Are. White. And. They. Are. Shorts. Which means I have to sit, what if I sit on a dirty seat. I mean, eventually these WHITE shorts are going to get dirty. AND I work with boys. I mean, just the other day we had a little "science" experiment with corn starch and water. It was quite the mess.
Needless to say I talked myself out of the shorts. I left the store without them. I still think about them though so I'm thinking I should have gotten them. I could have worn them on my days off.
