Today is very boring,
it’s a very boring day,
there is nothing much to look at,
there is nothing much to say,
there’s a peacock on my sneakers,
there’s a penguin on my head,
there’s a dormouse on my doorstep,
I am going back to bed.
Today is very boring,
it is boring through and through,
there is absolutely nothing
that I think I want to do,
I see giants riding rhinos,
and an ogre with a sword,
there’s a dragon blowing smoke rings,
I am positively bored.
Today is very boring,
I can hardly help by yawn,
there’s a flying saucer landing
in the middle of my lawn,
a volcano just erupted
less than half a mile away,
and I think I felt an earthquake,
it’s a very boring day.

Actually today was not boring at all. Let me tell you all about it.
First of all I spent the weekend in Connecticut with nineler(no I don't live in Connecticut). We got a hotel room and spent Sunday and today (Monday) just hanging out and having a good old time. I'm not going to include Sunday's adventures even though it included buying a lot of food. Part of the food wasn't very good...I'll leave it at that.
Today went something like this (and since the day started at 12am I should probably include this part too):
Early morning hours (probably till about 3 am) watching movies, eating cold pizza, eating sweet popcorn, and talking about work..
Finally we decided to stop talking at 3ish (I think). Sometime after that I fell asleep despite the light that was shining in the window making it feel like morning.
8 a.m. Woke up! Yay for only a few hours of sleep. Between this time and 9 (and after I did some random things) we went down to get our breakfast. The great thing about this hotel was they provided a free breakfast. I think it was pretty good. And I just kept eating and eating and eating. haha. Bagels with cream cheese and strawberry jam (is that weird to eat those together? I don't think it is) grapefruit, mini muffin, and I feel like there was something else but I can't remember.
After breakfast we watched the rest of our movie (Anna and the King) and then we had to check out. Nineler warmed up the last of the pizza she wanted to eat and I ate mine cold. We ate this in the car.
Next stop was the gas station. This is the part where just thinking about it makes me laugh. Nineler decided to get a car wash. She basically had a panic attack while we were going through the wash. I honestly can't stop laughing about this. I thought she was going to hyperventilate. After the wash she told me that she thought the Express was the same as the fast wash...LOL! You had to have been there. There is no such thing as a fast wash. Ok, I'm not making sense now so let's move on.
After nineler gained her senses back we headed down to the museum. I guess there is no harm in telling you what it was called. It was called the Peabody Museum at Yale University. It was a very nice museum. My favorite exhibit would have to be the birds and the old extincted animals...yeah.
Ah, I'm so tired I can't even think but on we go!
After the museum we talked in the car because my train was coming in an hour and we were only 7ish minutes away from the train station. We talked about meeting up in New York but I don't think that is going to happen very soon.
Then we drove to the station, she dropped me off, and I somehow managed to get back safely to my home. The family I work for was waiting for me at the station. They had me stay at the playground while they went shopping for 15 minutes. Of course the boys wanted to run all around and I was so cold that I decided to run around with them.
We played keep the bright orange ball away from the babysitter and with only a few hours of sleep I was exhausted in a matter of seconds but I pushed through. It was fun. After that we went home and the boys introduced me to the two cats they got while I was gone for the weekend. We all spent time talking to the cats and then I went to my room to rest. I've been here ever since.
I think that's pretty much the end. If I've left anything out maybe nineler can fill you all in, in her comment!
Oh, one more thing. I think my computer is not working well. It won't let me do a collage in Photobucket. So you get to see a picture of nineler and I taken today after we left the hotel. :)
So, I have a question. I've had this cough/sore throat/ tickle/ loss of voice since I've moved all the way across the United States. I couldn't think of what it was but this weekend my voice has been coming and going. My eyes have also become irritated while the tickle in my throat goes off. It finally hit me that this might be allergies.
Now, I've never had allergies...and these are not allergies to the cats. I've had this since I've moved here and I wasn't home all weekend. I just saw the cats today and this has been going on all weekend. What do you think? Allergies? At my other home I don't have allergies, but here maybe I'm allergic to something that is not back home. I don't know. What do you think?
