Aww, I love this post! I now can introduce you to my little enemy. My lovely dog who thinks she is bigger, tougher, and meaner than all of you combine!
Don't get me wrong. I love my little doggy. She makes me so happy. Just thinking of her brings a smile to my face and fear to my heart. *Sigh*
Some of you may be familiar with this little monster but some of you may not be (especially all you new readers...if you are new, WELCOME)
Name: Lucy
Breed: Chihuahua
Nicknames: Loony Lou Lou, Smoochers, Moosey, Goosey, Lucy Goosey, Goober, Spot, Speck, Sweatheart, Sweat-Tart, Crazy, Baby, Baby dog, My Baby Dog, Honey Bunches, Mouse, Bug, Baby Princess, Little Princess, Princess, and more that I can't think of. (TheKeyofE, help me out here!)
Age: Maybe like 9 years old? So what is that like super old in human years? She's not a puppy but she's the size of one!
Qualities: Loony Lou Lou has the brain of a goldfish. She only remembers one thing...if it's 2 in the morning she needs to be let outside to do her business. But I can't complain. I think her bladder must be the size of my fingernail. But seriously, she's a smart dog. She knows she's being naughty when she is naughty. She knows that she's not supposed to be in the neighbors yard. She knows she can get away with being in the neighbors yard if she looks all cute and cuddly when we catch her. She KNOWS these things.
Her bark is worse than her bite (literally): Poor Baby Dog (another nickname of hers) is toothless. Yep, she has no teeth whatsoever. She tries to clamp down every now and again with something that is KIND of like a bite but it just doesn't cut it.
But Lucy is a barker. She barks at EVERYTHING and EVERYONE. She only loves her family (which doesn't include my grandpa who has been living with us for about 3 years. She's been with us since her puppy years, that's why she can tolerate us) If you aren't family don't even think about getting on her good side. Yes, she'll lick you a couple of times (just to soften up your flesh before the bite) but as soon as you move your hand away she moves in with the kill. And if you even think of breathing she will NEVER stop barking at you. (Yes, this is very annoying)
The cutest thing about Lucy (despite the fact that she's small and cuddly) is her tongue hangs out of her mouth (probably because of her toothless-ness) It hangs out about an inch or so. It makes for super cute pictures.
