First of all I thought I lost my camera today. I searched and searched for it. After deciding that it was impossible to find I sat down at my computer and lazily looked over to the left...I mean right. (I get my directions mixed up) There sitting on my little set of new drawers was my camera case. It blended right in with the new drawers. So I did not loose my camera...thankfully.
Without going into too much detail today's post is what it says it is. It's a picture in my room. I've mentioned before in my Purple Alien posts that I'm a religious person, I'm what people would call a Christian. My room has pictures of Christ which shouldn't sound too surprising.
Maybe you think I went a little overboard with the pictures but honestly my room has little besides pictures of Christ. The picture you are looking at is the first thing you see when you walk into my room. Besides the little display I have on my dresser (which I could not put in this post because it is not a picture in my room...it is a display) this is my favorite part of my room.
I love it because first, it has a picture of Christ, second, it has a document of my beliefs, and third, it has a scripture passage that has given me comfort in my times of need. "Be still and know that I am God."
Now, without much more explanation I'm going to leave it at that. If you have questions you are more than welcome to ask me.
Sometimes when life becomes too difficult to stand, and it knocks you to our knees, it's good to take a moment and "Be still". Be still and take a moment to see what you have that is good in your life. After you receive that strength rise up again and face the difficulties of the world.
