I have so many borrowed things in my room. It was hard to pick exactly what I wanted to show you. I'm borrowing the room I'm staying in actually. So that's exactly what I've decided to share with you. What you are looking at is the door of my room.
The door is nothing fancy. I sleep in the basement. Sometimes I wake up with bugs in my room *SIGH* The door itself doesn't close very well so even if it's locked it can easily be pushed open. This is not an issue so much because I don't have visitors very often. A lot of the time I just keep my door open.
The family I work for just adopted two cats. So far they have been living upstairs. The original plan was for the cats to have their litter box in the basement. I don't know if I'm looking forward to that. Right now they are not supposed to go in the basement because there are too many places for them to hide. The family is putting a door up to block off half of the basement which means that the litter box will be pretty close to my room. On top of that my door doesn't close very well and they will be able to push into my room very easily. This I do not mind so much EXCEPT these cats shed like crazy!
Just know that I'm not complaining. I honestly want to have a little cat sitting in my room and hanging out with me. I love having pets and this makes me excited. I could do without the hair/fur(?) all over my stuff. I don't know, maybe this won't even be an issue. I'm just saying...litter boxes do not smell the best. Luckily I've supplied myself with a lot of good smelling things for my room.

This is the type of litter box the family has and it does help with the smell. I guess I can say I'm happy it's this and not one that has to be scooped everyday.
Back to my borrowed room...I'm very, very happy with it. It's beginning to feel like home. I just need to organize everything, right now it's a little chaotic. If you want a reminder of what my room looks like inside just go to Day 53: A Room in Your House
