thank you to those who commented as to what they wanted to happen during the night Dan was kicked out. I really liked both @QuinnPhann 's and @AQBalisticPanda 's ideas as to what Dan should do so I have decided to incorporate both into the story.
I hope this ends up well and you enjoy it!! It is a lot longer than i intended it to be... but oh well! We need some long chapters in our lives!!

Obviously Dan had misjudged the difficulty of surviving out on the streets for the entirety of the night. It was very cold with it still being winter and the clothes he was wearing weren't very good at trapping in his body heat, but letting it go and causing him to begin to freeze a lot quicker than he anticipated. Not only that, but he could feel his wound beginning to ache again due to not being given the correct treatment to help it heal.
He could summon his Kagune to help it heal a lot quicker, but walking through the streets of London was a too risky place to do so, what with all the street lamps acting like spot lights upon him as he walked underneath one.
He shivered as a cold breeze passed him. This was different to if he was going out to hunt for humans to get blood; sure he would be out in the cold, but he had a task to do, a challenge he had to complete, before going back to a warm, cozy house and a nice comfy bed to sleep in before school the next day.
The next time Dan would feel warmth would be when he went to school if he didn't find shelter soon, and that scared him a lot.
In his pocket, it felt as if his phone was purposely knocking into his leg, as if it was trying to get all of Dan's attention so he would call someone to give him help and shelter for the upcoming night.
He got it out, stopped walking... and just stared at its blank and empty screen. Who could he call at this time of night? There were a few options but in his mind, he told himself reasons he couldn't face to call them, especially this late into the night.
Connor? But Dan relied on him way too much already he felt, what with the whole ghoul thing. Connor was his go to mentor whenever he was having ghoul issues, and that was very often.
He could call Thomas... but to be honest, Dan didn't want to disturb someone he hadn't gotten to know too well. Besides, Dan had no idea where Thomas actually lived. Sure, his families business was local, but what was to say he didn't live the other side of town compared to all the rest of his friends?
Indigo was a close family friend and he had often gone to sleep at hers when he was desperate to get away from his mom. But at this time and with a long shift ahead of her at the cafe tomorrow, Dan didn't want to intrude on her, especially since she would be sleeping right now too. To him, it would be too rude of him to call her at this time, even though she would probably be delighted to see him.
As if on queue, his phone lit up, displaying a message from Phil ... hope you are doing well back at home and your wounds aren't too bad now... Get a good nights rest and I'll see you tomorrow at school bear xx
So Phil was awake... but he couldn't bring himself to text back, even if it was to tell Phil he was basically homeless for the night. During their relationship, Dan had done nothing but get in Phil's way. He felt like he was always with Phil at his house and the amount of time he and Adrian 'lived' in Phil's home really showed to him how clingy he was as a boyfriend.
