Dan Howell.
The guy who got attacked.
The guy who spent 5 months in hospital.
The guy who should be dead.
But Dan has a secret. Something only he and a selective of others know about. And Dan has to hide it, otherwise the others of his kind will be...
"So will you be telling everybody about your relationship tonight or what?" Joe asked as he walked home alongside Zoe, Phil, PJ and of course Dan who was still wearing Joe's very comfortable sweater.
Phil had been told how Joe and Zoe now knew about the relationship and the idea Joe put forward to Dan about them telling everybody about them dating at the party tonight.
"I don't know..." Phil shrugged, "I mean I know I can't hide it any longer and I keep going to slip up about it... but what if people react badly to it?"
"If they react badly I'll punch them," Joe shrugged, "It's good you two are an item, you suit one another perfectly and anyone to make fun of that or tries to make you feel bad for being yourselves deserves me to punch them in the fucking face."
"I doubt that'll be necessary," Zoe laughed as she saw Phil's face look to show pure horror whilst Dan laughed.
"We'll be fine Phil! You know the saying, pull the bandaid off quickly and the pain will only be for a short amount of time. Try to peel it off slowly to reduce pain will only in the end cause you more pain," Dan tried to convince his boyfriend as he lightly nudged him with his shoulder.
Dan did have a valid point. So with a sigh, he said, "So how do we tell everyone about us?"
"We kiss whilst playing spin the bottle," Dan smiled as he nudged into his boyfriend once again, "And by the way our kiss will look actually out of love rather than out of fear, they'll notice something was off about us and we are more than friends..."
"Yes but how? How do we make sure the bottle lands on each other? What if I spin the bottle and it lands on Connor and not you?" Phil blurted out.
"Alfie will probably start with the bottle and 'magically' have it land on me because he is such a pedo. I can spin the bottle after and make it land on one of you... but then I'd have to kiss one of you... would that be ok?" Zoe wondered aloud.
"I mean I guess?" Dan rubbed the back of his head, "You could kiss me and then I could spin the bottle to land on you Phil and then when we have to kiss we do it all romantically and shit and then we come out? Yes? No?"
"But how will you make it accurate?" Phil questioned.
"I'm sure there are tutorials online showing people how to spin a bottle accurately," Dan guessed, "I mean a lot of people probably want to know that vital information."
And there was. PJ researched the videos on 'how to spin a bottle accurately' whilst Phil helped Dan to find a shirt or t-shirt or whatever he wanted to wear to Joey's party.
In the end, Dan picked out a black and white plaid shirt Phil didn't even remember he owned whilst he chose out a maroon coloured sweater with the word 'WOLVES' printed in big and pulling a denim jacket with faux fur over the top (the outfit he wore for YouTube Rewind 2016).
