Chapter Fifteen

Elaina's POV

It's 10 pm and i'm sitting here bored. I hope Niall is doing okay, he just called me to say he's alright. I didn't say that his father made some marks onto my wrist, i couldn't have him worry about me when he's lying on the floor with a headache. I decided to call him to check on him.

Ring.. Ring... Ring....

No answer. I called again and i got the same result, no answer. I somehow have Louis's number in my phone, so i called him.

After a couple of rings, Louis answered.

"Hello?"

"Louis, do you happen to know where Niall is?"

"Oh he's at this party with me! Why don't you come by?"

Party? I thought he said he was in pain?

"I don't know Louis, and why would you bring Niall to a party he-" i stopped myself, i forgot Louis doesn't know.

"He what?" Louis asked

"Nothing, just text me the address i'll be right there"

I hang up and got ready. I wore a black long sleeve and some skinny jeans with black vans. I pick my hair up in a ponytail, i straightened it so it was easy to pick up. Louis texted me the address, I grabbed my car keys and headed out. My mom is sleeping so she won't know, i hope. I got into my car and drove to this party.

I arrived at the house where the party was being held. People were outside talking and drinking. I got out the car and headed to the house. The door was open so i let myself in. People were drunk and some were on the floor. I pushed past these people looking for Louis, hopefully Niall is with him. I tripped over someone's feet, i turn around and my eyes went wide. It was Niall passed out on the ground.

I kneeled next to him trying to wake him up.

"Niall? Niall!"

I shook him a few times and he was starting to wake. His eyes blinked open and he was groaning.

"What happened?" He asked.

"Niall it's me, Eli. Why are you here?"

"Eli?" His eyes went wide. "W-what are you doing here? Who invited you?"

"Niall calm down, I called Louis to ask where you were since you weren't answering your phone. He told me you were here. What the hell Niall i thought you said you were in pain?"

"I was. Louis just asked if i wanted to come to this party and i didn't want to look like a loser so i came. If i said no he would bombard me with questions"

"Let's get you home, Ni" i said, trying to help him get up.

"No! I snuck out, my dad doesn't even know i'm here. He would kill me! Literally!"

I sighed, "then let's go to my house". He nodded and got up. I led him out of the house and into the car. He got into the passenger side while i got into the driver's side. I started to drive back to my house.

"Niall how did you pass out?"

"I don't know. I blacked out after i was upstairs with some girl-"

"You had sex with a girl?!" I exclaimed.

"No no! Shit, she brought me upstairs and started making out with me. I pushed her off me and i went back downstairs. I didn't want her i promise" he explained

Why am i overreacting? It's not like he's dating me or even likes me. "Who was this girl anyways?" I asked

"I don't know i think her name was Arielle"

I stopped the car immediately. I pulled into a parking spot next to the sidewalk.

"A-Arielle? As in dark long brown hair? Hazel eyes? About 5'4 and squeaky voice?"

"Uh yeah why?" Niall asked

Arielle is my cousin. I know i'm being mean for saying this cause she is my own cousin but she is a complete slut. She gets any guy she wants and slept with plenty. She literally has a guy at her house every night.

"Nothing, i just know her from somewhere" i lied, i started to drive again.

"Are you sure? You seemed surprised when i said her name"

"I'm fine Niall"

We stopped talking after that. We arrived at my house. We got out the car and walked into the house.

"Erm, you can sleep on the couch. I'll get you some blankets" i said. He nodded sitting down on the couch. I got him a blanket and a pillow. He took it and thanked me. I walked upstairs and got into my pajamas. There's so much to take in right now. I didn't expect to have more drama when i moved here. I better get some sleep, i'm so exhausted after today.

I was so close to falling into deep sleep. I felt someone come into my bed and wrap their arms around my waist.
