Chapter Seventeen

Niall's POV

It's so great to actually move out of my father's place. Now i'm living with Elaina, this couldn't get any better. Elaina and I just had breakfast, now we're up in her room just laying on her bed.

"What do you want to do today, Ni?" She asked.

Ni.. I like that

"Erm, we could go out for dinner if you would like?" I suggested. She smiled and nodded. I love her smile, it could brighten up anyone's day.

We ended up watching movies and cuddling.

"Niall?"

"Yes?" I asked.

"Do you think your dad will come after us?" Well that was unexpected.

"I don't know to be honest with you, he probably will, i know how he is. But for right now, let's not worry about him ok?" I comforted her.

"Ok, it's 5pm. What time you want to go to dinner?"

"Let's go around 8. I'm still enjoying this with you" i gestured to us cuddling. She giggled and her eyes went back to the tv. I completely forgot about school, friends, and my job. Louis and the others know i rush out of school but now i don't need to. I don't know what i will say but i'll think of something. They can't be that suspicious.

It is now 7pm. Elaina sent me to go get dressed in the guest room since she's not comfortable with me watching her change. I'm wearing a black polo with some beige pants and black shoes. My hair was quiffed up as usual. I'm downstairs waiting for Elaina to finish getting ready. Her mum comes to sit next to me, waiting for her as well.

"Please take care of my daughter tonight" she says to me. I nodded to her, "don't worry i'll protect her" i smiled.

Elaina finally comes downstairs. She is wearing a black long sleeve dress that goes up to her knees. Her hair is curled and she has light makeup on. She looked beautiful.

"Ready to go?" She asked.

"Definitely" i smiled. She grabbed my hand and led me to the door. We waved goodbye to her mum and we walked to the car. I offered to drive since it would look weird with her driving and me sitting there awkwardly in the passenger seat.

I drove off to this fancy looking restaurant called 'Divine' (A/N: idk if thats really a restaurant i just made it up xD). We got out the car and entered the restaurant.

"Table for two?"

"Last name, sir?"

"Horan"

The waitress looks at the name list and grabs two menus then leads us to our table.

"When did you make reservations?" Eli asked.

"Erm when i went to the bathroom i made a call" i chuckled. She giggled and swat me playfully on the arm.

The waitress brought us to our table. As we sat down she put the two menus infront of us. "Your waiter will be here shortly" she tells us and walks back to the front of the restaurant.

"This is so nice, did you pick this yourself?" Eli asked.

"Yeah, i always past by this place and wanted to take someone special here. And i guess that would be you"

She blushes "this is beautiful ni, thank you". The waiter comes up to our table with a notepad in his hand.

"What would you like today?" He said in a fancy accent. Eli almost bursted out in laughter because of his effort to trying to sound fancy.

"I will have the steak with fries on the side" i ordered. The waiter writes it down on his notepad, "and for the lady?"

"I will have the same he's having"

"Any drinks?"

"Just water" we both said.

The waiter nods, "i will be back with your orders shortly". He tried soundinf fancy again but failed. He walked off and Eli started laughing. "He tries so hard but i don't think he realizes"

"What would you like today?" I mimicked the waiter. Eli started laughing even more. The waiter came back with our orders. After dinner, Eli and I went to some park nearby.

"This was a fun night" Elaina says.

"I enjoyed it myself actually"

We sat down on a bench and relaxed.

"Eli.. Have you ever thought if someone liked you?" I asked

"Never, i always focused on my studies. Plus no one would like me anyways"

"Don't say that, any man would be lucky to have you. I would be jealous if any man were to take you"

"But they won't don't worry, i won't let any man take me cause why would i when you're already here?". That surprised me so much. She likes me?

"Are you saying you like me?" I asked her.

"Well yeah, i guess"

I didn't say anything, i was too speechless.

"I'm sorry i shouldn't have said that, we should probably go-"

I interrupted her, "it's okay, i was just speechless. It's because i like you too"

Her face lit up, "you do?" She asked. I nodded. She grinned and pulled me into a long hug.
