sad days

(y/n) was sad, she was sad for absolutely no reason. it was one of those days where she just wished she could disappear and never be found again.

she laid in her and Shawn's shared bed, tear pouring from her eyes as a random episode of friends played in the back, she scrolled through her phone looking at photos if her and shawn wishing he was here to hold her and just be with her, she sniffles as she gets up and grabs some fresh clothes and hoping a hot shower would help, she stepped in and all she could do was cry some more.

after freshening up and put on some fresh pjs, she headed back to the bed but not before pulling on one of shawns hoodies, taking in the smell she lets out a sob and heads back to the bed, laying down she checks her phone and see's a text from shawn.

my love ❤️:  heading home now darling, see you in 5!

a small smile comes to her lips waiting for him and before she knew it the sound of the front door slamming sent her to her feet, she rushes to him just as he's finished taking his shoes off and his wallet is being tossed on the counter and his keys are being hung up.

"hey dar-" she cuts him off before he could finish with a big hug, her head hiding in the crook of his neck and her grip tight around him as a sob comes out, she's feels better as his gip comes around her, one hand remains around her as the other comes to go through her hair.

"love what's the matter?" he asks in a shush but concerned tone.

"i-i just haven't h-had the best d-day." she stutters.

"oh darling why's that?" he asks her pulling away from the hug to look her in her bloodshot eyes.

"i-i don't know. i woke up and i just felt like this." she says as more tears fall.

"baby why didn't you call or text me about this? i would've just taken the day off and spent it with you, you know that?" he says as he wipes the tears and they both head back to the bedroom.

"i-i know, i just, i don't know i just feel bad when i have to keep you from work." she sobs as they lay down and the moment she says that he brings his hand to her cheek and has her look at him.

"don't you ever say that, you are my number one priority, if i had to pick family or my career you know i would pick family in a heart beat. you are now apart of my family, you'll always be my first priority, well next to my parents and sister of course!" he smiles and a soft giggles comes from her.

"now my little sunflower, what is it that i can do to make you feel better?" he asks as they lay down on the bed.

"just wanna cuddle and have the tv on. want you close to me." she says and he nods as he turns the tv from friends and brings up the episode of the office they were watching and then proceeds to wrap his arms around her, he places a kiss to her head.

"i love you sunshine, remember that on days like this and let me know anytime you feel down, i'll rush home and be by your side." he says and she smiles as they bring each other closer and continue their evening together.
