Mia's POV
"Alright, you ready?" Brendon asked, sounding much like a slightly more masculine giddy school girl.
I nodded, so I began to lift the blindfold and.........
My mouth dropped open. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
"Oh my God," I said quietly, I turned towards Brendon who also had a huge smile on his face.
I walked towards them and stopped right in front of them, "Are you real?" I asked quietly, although I didn't mean to ask it out-loud.
"Yeah we're real," Patrick said, enveloping me in a hug.
The others laughed before taking it in turns to hug me.
"Mia right?" Pete asked.
I nodded vigorously.
"You've got yourself a keeper here! He went to great lengths to set this thing up!" Joe commented, gesturing towards Brendon.
I ran over towards Brendon before launching at him, jumping and hugging him like a monkey.
"Thank-you, thank-you, THANK-YOU!!" I said as I squeezed Brendon as hard as I could.
He chuckled before releasing me and spinning me back around to face the band.
"I'm assuming you know who we are but I'm Pete, this is Patrick, Joe and Andy," Pete said with a smile.
"Yes of course I know who you are," I said, still mildly in shock.
"Did you want to get some pictures?" Patrick asked kindly.
"Would you mind?" I asked nervously.
"Of course not!" Joe replied, my smile only growing.
"I'm totally putting these on everything," I attempted to mutter to myself but as Brendon and the band started laughing, I guess that I wasn't so quiet after all.
"Come on B," I said, summoning Brendon over, "I know how much you like them too,"
He blushed slightly before readying himself for the pictures.
After a somewhat creative photoshoot (I ended up getting a piggy back from Andy) they invited us into their backstage changing room thing, which Brendon and I gladly accepted.
"You guys looking forward to the show?" Joe asked, flopping down on a couch.
I looked down before saying quietly, "I didn't manage to get tickets."
"Good thing I did," Brendon said with another huge smile, holding out two tickets.
I turned around and gave him a huge kiss, earning a bunch of 'awwws' from the band.
"Actually he didn't get the tickets, we gave them to him," Pete corrected him with a smirk.
"Well thank-you so much, it means a lot to me," I said, practically beaming.
"Aww we don't get a kiss?" Pete replied.
I smirked before walking over to the band and giving them each a kiss on the cheek.
"There you go," I said shyly, taking a seat next to Brendon.
Another few minutes went by, and we were just hanging out like old friends.
"We've got to do soundcheck now but you're welcome to watch us," Patrick offered, which Brendon and I quickly accepted.
"Alright we've got to grab some gear but Nick here will take you to the stage," Patrick continued, gesturing to a crew member who smiled at us before leading us away from the band and to the stage.
