Rin's Friend (Rin Matsuoka x Reader)

Samezuka

I jogged all the way to the train station. I was tired out, so I looked for the closest bench. I sat down and tried to regulate my breathing. I was people watching. I saw a couple with a little boy, an old couple, a runner with their dog, and a businessman on the phone.
"They should be here soon." I said getting impatient. My phone started buzzing. I looked at the contact and saw a different number. I answered.

"Hello?" I asked. The other line was silent, except for light breathing. "Hello?!" I asked again. I was getting annoyed with this person. I sighed. "Look, answer me or I'm going to hang up. You..." I tried to say before they interrupted me.
"I'm sorry." They said and hung up. I pulled the phone from my ear and looked at it. 'Weird.' I thought.

"Hey, (Y/n)! Over here!" Nagisa yelled in my direction. I stood up and walked over to the three of them.
"You ready to go?" Mako asked. I nodded and we all went on the train. Nagisa explained to me that we were going to Samezuka to find Rin. I couldn't care less about that person, but came along to make them happy. I was sitting next to Haru while Nagisa and Mako were fast asleep on his other side. He scoffed and looked out the window.

"Did you see Rin before yesterday?" I asked Haru. That question had been nagging me all day. Haru looked at me with his bored expression.
"No, that was the first I saw him." He said looking forward. I nodded and looked out the window. "Did you mean that about him, him being an asshole?" Haru asked surprisingly. I looked with shock on my face. I looked down and felt tears welling up.

"I don't know. He was one of my best friends. Him saying those things..." I said trying not to cry. The train stopped and I woke up Nagisa and Mako. We got to Samezuka academy and we were behind the building where the pool was. Nagisa and Mako were sneaking. I heard people shouting on the inside, but couldn't tell what they were saying.

"You see Rin anywhere?" Nagisa questioned looking into the building. I was blushing profusely. I've seen guys with their shirts off, like Haru, but the amount I was seeing was probably going to make me pass out.
"Not yet," Mako said hopeful. "He might be out today." He suggested. "Ha..." Mako was saying until he turned around. We all turned and I saw him undressing. I blushed more than before and averted my gaze to the ground. I saw Mako lunge forwards and stop him from taking his pants off. "Woah! Stop taking your clothes off!" Mako yelled at him while he held his hands.

"Well you're the one who dragged me here to swim, and I only came to swim!" Haru yelled at Mako pulling his hands away.
"No, hold on, you're right!" Nagisa stated. "But we should probably wait until their practice is over, so we can have the pool to ourselves." Nagisa finished. Mako sighed.

"You do realize that we're going to be trespassing, right?" He said sadly.
"What did Mrs. Amakata say about never holding an empty glass to the moon. We have to live our lives! You only..." Nagisa tried saying, but Haru was taking off his pants.
"What's wrong with you?!" Mako asked weirded out. I chuckled lightly at that. We sat by the wall and waited till it got dark out. When we were sure that nobody was in the building we walked in.

"I still think this will get us in trouble." Mako said. We were looking around at the place. It was huge. With the ceiling being all window and there being at least eight diving platforms. I was in awe how the moonlight shone across the water.
"Come on, lighten up bro. What they don't know won't hurt them." I said nudging his side. I heard fabric being tossed before a big splash. Haru had already jumped in. He looked so peaceful being in the water.

"Just look at how home he is. Still moves like a dolphin." Nagisa said reminiscing. "Hey let's jump in and swim with him?" He asked me and Mako.
"Are you nuts, were going to be in so much trouble if they find us. The whole point in coming was to find Rin." Mako said worrisome. I did have to admit, the pool did look nice.

"Let's do a few laps first." Nagisa said taking off his shirt. "As long as we don't turn on the lights nobody will find us." He said taking of his pants. I started blushing again.
"Yeah, but you don't have a swimsu..." Mako tried to say before he covered both my eyes with his big hands.
"Gonna skinny dip." Nagisa said. I blushed more than before again. I heard Nagisa laugh. "Well here it goes." I heard pattering of feet. Mako removed his hands to try and grab Nagisa.
"Nagisa, wait!" He said.
"Cannonball!" Nagisa shouted jumping into the water. I started laughing at how childish he was. "Makoto come here for a second!" He yelled from the side of the pool. I started taking off my top and shoes. I was in my bra and in my school skirt.

"You're insane, if you think I'm getting in there..." he started to say before a hand grabbed his foot. Mako was losing his balance and ended up falling into the water. I laughed and did a cannonball after. I was under the water and I looked up to see the moon. I went to the surface to grab some air and I heard Nagisa laughing at Mako.
"Hehe, you should've seen your face." Nagisa said while laughing. I started laughing too, but I started floating on my back looking at the sky. I blocked out everything, until I was splashed on. I sputtered and saw Nagisa laughing even harder.

"Oh, it's on little man." I said starting to splash the two of them. We were having fun until the door opened. I was terrified and swam behind Makoto. I was hiding behind him and put my hands on his shoulders, but looked up and saw the one person I didn't want to see. Rin.

"What the hell is this? What the hell are you bastards doing here?" Rin asked annoyed. I was nervous and went behind Makoto more. I felt something graze my leg gently causing me to look down.
"Rin, uh" Mako tried to answer.
"We were just looking for you!" Nagisa said happily.
"Get out!" Rin said annoyed once again.

"But Rin," Nagisa tried to say before Haru popped up out of the water with his head down.
"Free..." Haru whispered. Rin gasped and looked shocked. "Did you forget? I told you, I only swim freestyle." Haru muttered.

"What's happening?" Nagisa asked confused.
"Haru..." Mako asked worried. Haru stepped up onto the floor and stood up in front of Rin.
"I'm supposed to have three years left until I'm normal. Eh, I guess it couldn't hurt to wait a while longer." Haru said nonchalantly. "What was it you showed me back then that I wasn't supposed to forget, I seem to be having a little trouble remembering." He said teasingly while he shook his hair. I saw a look of disgust on Rin's face before he looked down and smirked.

"Oh I see what this is," he said with a little chuckle. "have it your way then." He snapped his head up with fury in his eyes. "Just so you know, it'll be completely different this time." Rin said as the two stared face to face. Oh boy, let's see how this'll end.
